That’s called mididreams by art kerns, it’s 2 AU’s in one. A note sequencer and a drum sequencer. Might be iPad only not sure.

I'd avoided this as I don't do IAA, but I just bought it and love it already. Going to play around with exporting stuff from this and running it in the LoopyPro AU.

Maybe we can 'bribe' Pascal Douillard to do an Auv3 version.. Personally, I think it is one of the best Drum apps out there..
Just discovered the FX sends thing... amazing..

I really do like it. Anyone know how to contact Pascal?

I most use Drumlab and DM2 to make weird drones and loops so I can export them and do further processing. So for my use cases they’re both great. Especially since I got them for $.99 a piece. I also don’t mind using IAA apps so maybe I’m in the minority here lol.

    I think they’re great overall.

Yea dm2 has that cool drone mode.

When loaded as an IAA in Cubasis, Drumlabs is not receiving any midi notes from Cubasis. Is it designed as this or am I doing something wrong?
Would be great to be able to sequence it externally.

I get nothing when sending directly to DrumLab but if sending to an AudioBus virtual port I can see the MIDI “notes” radio button flash in time with the received MIDI but hear no sound. Also the instrument in the steps window flashes in time.

Did you guys managed to make it work, with a sequencer sending MIDI notes to DrumLab?

I have Audiobus with Polybeat sending MIDI notes to DrumLab as a MIDI Receiver.
DL seem to be receiving the Start/Stop from Audiobus with Ableton Link; but with IAA enabled and MIDI set to receive everything, there is still no note received from DL.

    Any luck with that?

In AUM I can drive DL from Rozeta XOX not using MIDI but using IAA notes. Maybe this helps?

Thanks anickt, I figured it out in the end:
sending from AudioBus MIDI channel directly into System->VirtualMIDI->DrumLab didn't work; I'm not sure why.

I could get DL to receive midi input correctly only by using Virtual MIDI Bridge as destination of the MIDI pipeline output (plus Audiobus activated as source for Notes in DL).

i'm pretty happy I can use DrumLab now with all its sounds, engines and manipulations!
Hopefully I'll be able to recreate the same setup also in Cubasis
