Hi,
I never got the free pack offered on the last update. ED
👍
Will test and get back to you. Great to have been able to help!

@kv331audio_bulent are you likely to make synthmaster 2 universal like you did synthmaster 1?
we are not very sure about it, making an iPhone synth app does not worth the time we spend on it
I get it, it must be a lot of work. I have an iPad too, but it’s great to be able to transfer a song from iPad to iPhone and take it on the go, with all the synths working. I love doing this with synthmaster one. It’s a really important part of my workflow, but I don’t think many others do this.
@lbiyikoglu told me these are already included in the Desktop Factory preset pack, not a separate download.
Everything seems to be working for me at least after testing, apart from the two Nat Life packs still not showing up when restoring IAPs. Considering I have roughly 4500 presets to play with anyway I can live with that but it would be nice to get hold of them as well….one can never have too many synths…. or presets…. or cowbells😊.

Thanks DM, I have never found those bonus free presets anywhere. How do you count the presets? They are looking into it for me. Cheers, ED
I scroll to the end of the All list in the preset browser. It's a fairly lengthy process.
Thanks Dave, I have 2174 presets. Cheers, ED
I have 4057 presets in the local library, all packs installed apart from the two latest from Nat Life. Another 372 made by other users is currently available in the online library.
Being a preset player mostly due to time limits, I used to have a music workstation stocking well over 2000 sounds and then I thought that was a lot. SM2 is a gigantic preset player if used as such, and then you barely scratch the surface of this monster synth with all its capabilities.
If I ever had to pick a digital desert island synth on iOS this would be it.

Do you see the following authors under the Authors list:
Selcuk Ergen
Yuli Yolo
NatLife
?
Hello, I have the Natlife & Yuli Yolo. But I never had the Selcuk Ergen. Cheers, Elecktrik Diva
Thanks for the SynthMaster Player update.. smooth as a baby’s ..no more spikes..
Thank you..
I am unable to register the new SM player. When I enter my email address and serial number from desktop, it keeps saying they are wrong but I’m cutting and pasting. Is there an issue with your registration server? @kv331audio_bulent
I'll check it right now
So can SM Player more ‘play’ synthmaster 2 patches or something? I’ve never really understood the point of sm player tbh
Yes, SM Player is our first app. It is the player for SM2, but now we have the full synth on iOS
It's intended for users who are not into creating sounds from scratch but just use presets
As I know you’re not going to support iPhone for sm2, I’m thinking I can create sm2 patches on iPad then use sm player when they’re done. Is this a thing?
Well at the moment preset syncing using the cloud is not implemented for the Player but we can do it no problem.
Sounds like a good solution! Can you still manipulate filter cutoffs and stuff in SM player?
(Still hoping you change your mind about making sm2 universal like you did with sm1 😉)
On Player, there are 8 knobs & 2 xypads, you can control 12 parameters in total but these vary per preset (depends on which parameters the sound designer assigned to the knobs etc)
Sorry if this was already asked, but are there plans to make Synthmaster 2 work as an FX on iOS? I just picked it up and I thought because it was a "no compromise" port that it would work an an effect like it is advertised on https://www.kv331audio.com/synthmaster.aspx .
Not the end of the world, I'm still really excited to use Synthmaster 2, I just feel slightly deceived? Maybe I'm missing something?
One other question: Does anyone know good examples / starting points for using SynthMaster 2 as an FM synth?
Edit: I realized I was looking in matrix for the mod routings, not the layer routing screen. This is pretty powerful! If folks know of a good set of FM presets for SynthMaster 2 I'm still interested.
I used to have 4k+ presets installed (all expansions purchased). Now I have 3072. Again. 1k+ is missing...
Last time I had this issue (few weeks ago), the 'Restore IAPs for Synthmaster 2' restored the missing presets. Now it does nothing
It's annoying that I face this issue time to time.
Any idea?
can you please restore the desktop presets upgrade, most probably that's the one missing
Thank you! This was the missing preset pack.
Ever since the last SynthMaster 2 iOS update I can’t download ANY of the expansion packs at all, I have the everything bundle for desktop. I register my SN and it acts like it’s downloading and says it downloaded everything but I still have only the original 849 patches. I tried the restore IAP feature and IAP list is empty. I tried downloading the Desktop expansion and bonus Desktop presets and get indications something is happening but still have 849 patches. Am I missing something? I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. I don’t know what else to try. Help! @lbiyikoglu
Ok checking the downloads. Are you sure you're using the App store version, not the Testflight version. An empty IAP list is not normal at all, this list comes from Apple
Edit: You have the everything bundle upgrade, so it's normal not to purchase anything from Apple, hence the list being empty. These are the purchases from the App Store.
I do have the App Store version. If the IAP list is supposed to be empty why do I still only have the original 849 presets after trying all of the restore options?
I just had a thought, I also have the latest App Store version of SM player and you recently helped me troubleshoot IAP issues there. Could having both of them installed at the same time be causing this? If I can get all of the IAPs into SM 2, I’ll gladly delete SM player and download them into SM 2. Thanks for help!
All your purchases made in SMP are transfereable to SM2 since they are originally made with the SM2 engine. That was a main reason for me at least to dive into SM2 and deleting SMP.
There are for sure some issues regarding IAPs, public presets and the App Store in SM2 for some users including myself but I have found @lbiyikoglu very helpful on the matter through different channels. There are issues with other synths from other developers as well, otherwise this forum would be a pretty dead place.
I see it this way: SM2 (and One for that matter) are ports of pretty massive and deep software synths from the PC/Mac world, most likely among the most powerful and and large synths there is on iOS. I’d be surprised if they didn’t have any issues.
Let’s help the developer iron the issues out! SM is a great synth!
