  • I’ll buy it day one. Sound Saw is an all timer for me. All of his apps are really.

  • Slow ambient? Where do I sign up?

  • Igor apps are the one I missed more since I switched back to pc:-(
    Will buy it for sure.

  • Anyone got any more news on this? I'm intrigued but don't do any social media.

    me too man, me too

  • want it badly!
Sure gotta pair it with Spacevibe

  • Igor's apps so unique that I'm ready to buy it only after seeing istagram screenshots. It would be cool if someday he will release Fieldscaper LE with auv3 implemetation. Beatcutter for glitches and Filedscaper for clouds seems like perfect pairing.

  • Any news on this? 👀

  • We are the cool part of social media, because we’re actually talking about something

  • Are we there yet?

Sound Saw definitely piqued my interest. Am I right in thinking it doesn't have sample-reduction?

  • No updates on the release yet…

  • Thanks for keeping the thread warm

Thanks! I haven’t looked at it in depth, and it might’ve been that he'd just used different naming conventions. Kept forgetting to clarify.

There are in fact two bitcrushers in SoundSaw. A and B, to be used alternatively:

I did go back to look for a manual, but with no luck. I did assume that having Bitcrush A meant there being a 'B', but that's still distinct from sample-rate reduction, no? The ones I use on desktop are D16's Decimator 2, and the Unfiltered Audio plugins on desktop, all of which have sample-rate and bitcrush as separate processes. And looking at bitjuggler and others on iOS it's the same.

That's why I mentioned unconventional naming - I thought maybe 'Decimator' was used for that function.

    Thanks! That's very helpful.

So it is the Decimator setting...with a twist :)

Was trying to decide between this and BitJuggler. Im sure it's more of an 'And' rather than an 'Or' situation, but budget dictates I start off with either one or the other. SoundSaw definitely seems to offer more flexibility. Then later, could look to adding BJ for the variety and depth.

    Thanks, again.

This is getting off topic but perhaps also take a look at Bit Maestro. It’s the iOS version of OTO Machines’ Biscuit and let’s you switch on / off and rearrange individual bits.
