    Thanks! That's very helpful.

So it is the Decimator setting...with a twist :)

Was trying to decide between this and BitJuggler. Im sure it's more of an 'And' rather than an 'Or' situation, but budget dictates I start off with either one or the other. SoundSaw definitely seems to offer more flexibility. Then later, could look to adding BJ for the variety and depth.

    Thanks, again.

This is getting off topic but perhaps also take a look at Bit Maestro. It’s the iOS version of OTO Machines’ Biscuit and let’s you switch on / off and rearrange individual bits.

Thanks! Have checked out BM, but again, I'm looking to make bigger movs first. From there, if I stick to iOS-production, I'll start seeking out apps that are similar to what I have, save for that 'one special thing they do that others' don't.

For me, at the moment, I think Sound Saw will give me a lot more options and without having to load tons of extra apps.

    Appreciate the help, man :)

Glad to be back on topic. Anything Igor is an instabuy.

Btw all the Scaper apps have a data readout manipulation section that makes common bitcrushing look like a toddler crayoning on the Mona Lisa.

If you’re into this kind of stuff.

I bought SoundScaper many years back. Didn't really take to it very well, but that's my fault for not putting the time in. Trying it again more recently I did make a bit more headway. Unfortunately it's not something I can devote a lot of time to learning. Luckily it's pretty well compartmentalised, and there's enough fun to be had without digging into the deeper levels of craziness.

Glad that some of that craziness has been tempered for some of these plugins. Both Sound Saw and this incoming app seem far more accessible.

Thanks! Will bookmark that, and return to it as necessary. For the moment, I'm content with just 'throwing shapes' on the various controls and 'mining' the results.

  • Early March release according to Igor’s Facebook post.

Coming soon! SpaceFields - Space Ambient Machine. Loop-based mangler effect for creating slowly changing rhythmic sound structures in a deep reverb space from any external signal. Great for experimenting and designing ambient and noise backgrounds with rhythmic elements. Details will be here https://motion-soundscape.blogspot.com

I’ll definitely be using them together in some fashion. Those flights I’m scheduled to take in mid-March just got a lot less boring. 🤘

BeatCutter without the nervous breakdown would be nice.

I'm still in therapy from trying to learn BeatCutter last year

  • Oof I haven’t even fully learned beatcutter yet but I’ll definitely be buying this. Looks like it has the same interface from SoundSaw which I love.

    Spacefields Demo.

This one sounds right up my Ambient Street.

  • Looks ace, a fieldscraper that I’ll possibly understand how to use ‘properlyz’

Talking my language. Where do I line up?

  • Sounds like it might be inspired by the Soma Cosmos oddball looper pedal? All over this either way

  • Frippertronics fest?

  • Would be great if we had the option of changing the colour of the skins, like in the Toneboosters stuff. These newer plugins (At least SS and Spacefields) look pretty similar, at a glance.

    Man… man, man, man, man…

  • I wonder if it’ll only be an effects processor or it’ll be similar to Beatcutter where we can upload files into the “looper”? Either way, I’m gonna buy it day one.

  • Todays getting expensive! KLEVGR now this and the IAP for Senode. Oh well haven’t brought many apps this year.

  • Buying this.
