Chip shortage is the delay…

I’m struggling to understand why the keyboards look like they have yellowed over mamy years in storage.
They look like they need a good scrub. 🤣
I haven't seen the last one yet. What's it do? Looks like it might be fun.
Even though they look silly and goofy, I kinda like the look of the keyboards. I think they are going for the printed on a PCB look. Although, I'm guessing these are renders, so they might not look much like this in real life.
They look like they're going after all tiers of the synth market: Low-end, middle and high-end.
Homage to EDF’s Wasp?
Those are not renderings. They might be mockups.
these are approaching Korg Monotron territory and look a lot more capable.
(I have a little monotron delay and it’s a lot of fun — brilliant as the worlds’ noisiest analogue delay but pretty much useless as an actual synth).
They’re going to be impulse buys for a lot of people. Especially when they’re on sale!
It’s apparently a 3 oscillator paraphonic mono synth based on a single Jupiter 8 voice.

Yeah, I could easily be wrong. I'm only guessing at renderings because Behringer has done some pretty cool videos where the did renderings of their synths and then animated a blow up to exploded view like a Haynes manual.
That is interesting! Thanks.
They've also announced this:
and this:
The Toro is obvious. I guessed the Proton had something to do with the Neutron and I find this quote from them “This time we cloned ourselves…,” I'm definitely going to have to look into the Proton. I really like my Neutron and wish they would do more with these newer designs.
They run the gamut from $49 to $99!
Haha.
"We like all kinds of music. Both country AND western!"
Saturn is a mini Jupiter with analog circuitry
JP-4000 is a mini Jupiter with virtual analog circuitry
🤩
Only the Proton stands out, which I would really get. Others are toys, would be great for kids, but meh otherwise. Modal skulpt clones.
Finally ..a keyboard that goes to Z ! It’s been so limiting to stop at G ..now I can finally finish my magnum opus.
The Taurus (US$200) has my attention.
I’ve wanted a Taurus ever since I saw Geddy Lee playing one.

Psyched for this!
The little synths though.... 🤦🏻
Since I’m so poor I can’t even dream of buying reissues, I’ll gladly welcome these regardless of what they look like
Just to say this joke was appreciated by me
They need to do a photo with a hand in it so you can see how big/little it is.
We already have a thread for this...

I want to hear some audio demos for these.
Yay! I’m excited that there won’t be much competition to buy these synths when they’re released! I don’t mind ugly as long as it sounds and works good 🤩
Proton has my attention too, but it’s a damn shame that the looping ASRs don’t have CV over attack or release. Had the potential to be great function generators. The utilities don’t bring much to the table either. At least the Neutron’s slew limiter and S&H were a modular selling point. As for the 2-way mult, they should’ve just included a stackable cable instead of wasting the patch points.
Dual filters are great though. I read that they are a different design from the Neutron. But I’m not sure if I saw ‘filter mix’ as a mod destination, which would’ve made SVF action possible. My main takeaway is the wavefolder. Love folders. Very interested in what the different modes do.
Somewht conflicted on the Proton though. It feels 'almost there' to me. I feel like if I bought one of these that I’d be pissed off every time I reached for the ASRs. It's likely I'll pick one up secondhand a year or two after release.
This is getting silly. With that image I'm back to thinking these are renders. The reflections look too good to me, too precise maybe.
Still waiting on that VCS3 clone…
