Just curious, can I DL Terra Pro on my M1 MBA if I already purchased it on iPad? It comes up as to be purchased and I'm pretty sure it will eventually say DL for free if I go through with the purchase, but wanted to double check first!

Same here. I've heard it's ok, but be good to know for sure from the dev.

I have never heard from a single case where the download was not free for those who already payed for the iPad version!

I’ve been using it on my M1 iMac and it’s great as an Audio Unit.

This is accurate. The same thing happens when you try to download the Sunrizer synth, but it eventually figures out you already own it on iOS.

  • Thanks gents!

  • @VirSyn I just picked this up and am using it on iOS 12.5.5 on an iPad Air and am having some crashes. It’s fine when I play notes or change a modulation slot, oscillator, and adjusting envelopes but I consistently get crashes if I try to move any of the knobs or sliders. It occurs in both standalone and when using it as an audio unit in AUM and Drambo.

I’ve changed the buffer and sample rates, lowered the polyphony, have deleted the app and reinstalled, and I have restarted my iPad but still get the crash. I’ve checked with the synth page, arp, and effects but yeah, any knob I turn or slider and then it crashes.

In AUM I would notice a dsp spike right after it would crash if that helps any

How old is that iPad Air?

New update 1.1 is finally working on Apple Silicon Macs: stand alone and as AUv3 ( works in Ableton Live 11 beta )

This doesn't appear in my account list of purchases on the Mac and is asking me to pay again - what do I do?

Pierre is correct. I don’t know why this App Store bug still hasn’t been fixed, but items already purchased will not double-charge you.

I can confirm this with Tera Pro 1.2.1, on my iPad Air (1) with iOS 12.5.5 (latest version for this device). Tested as AUv3 in Audiobus. Adjusting a control in the Mixer causes TP to vanish. The Analytics logs show it died with SIGABRT, abort() called, apparently from libsystem_kernel.dylib. Maybe it's just not compatible with iOS 12.

Crazy, it should work with 12.0 and newer. Will try to check this but needs some time because I have to setup a device for iOS 12

I could reproduce the problem with my old iPad mini ( 2nd gen ). It is now solved with version 1.2.2 which is available immediately.

The update has not yet propagated to the West Coast of the US yet... ;) I'll keep checking on it.

Update (about 5 minutes later): NOW it's available. :)

Updated 1.2.2 works fine for me. Thanks for the quick fix!

  • New update added a wavetable IAP. I haven’t bought it (yet) but I do like the waveform window, gives me fairlight vibes 📺

It literally has a Fairlight patch. I recommend this upgrade. Well worth the price.

  • Love this synth, but sadly haven’t used it much yet due to it being buggy in Drambo. Tera Pro never remembers the preset in saved projects, and defaults to no sound.

  • Would be great to have a new patch randomiser at some point @VirSyn ;)

I hadn’t yet checked Drambo/Tera Pro with the latest (wavetable) update. Finally seems to be working, at least on the first project I saved. Either the latest Tera or Drambo updates might have fixed it.

P.s. I’m very excited about the wavetable osc addition! Tera Pro will likely become my primary power synth now, since the interface is so much easier to navigate and manipulate than Synthmaster. Well done, Virsyn!

  • Very nice addition! The new presets are fabulous as well, thanks VirSyn!

  • @VirSyn Bug: wavetable presets crash teraverse. HST, great update! 👌🎛🚀

  • can load your own waves too. hope AddStation gets that one day 🤞

Not sure if you mean he should add a wavetable section but if you don't: Addstation already has a save, import export function for most of the drawn stuff you do with it, not wavetables. So, as long as you create your own stuff/template within you can reuse it. You can also, of course, grab stuff from other presets and reuse those.
