    My latest Dawless setup

Nice. You’ve set it up so you can use them all on 707 channels?

I’m working out the midi side but I’m getting there. All going to be controlled by the 707.

Nice! It’s fun to just use dedicated gear, feels different.

  • This kind of counts as dawless but with a modular background pattern daw, if needed.

Its different to a computer you never see or touch and midi controller replicas of hardware because the screens are part of the hardware control.

    Its still bright screens though.

So deluding myself its hatdware lol.

  • What would I be controlling there live and how much hardware space would it be.

10 drums and a bass synth and euclidean controller ( the pc12 )

A mononoke and a steel guitar plus background synths from launchpad

A load of swams via woodtroller and kb1

    mic and turntable.

Theres other setups but think it would just be an 303 bass synth plus kebarp on the drum ipad.

That would be about 4 times as much space.

  • am i DAWless? well, technically yes, i am.

travel rig: Circuit Tracks + iPad with Drambo – which does not qualifies itself as a DAW.
    regular rig: hardware only.

i typically use a DAW only for mixing/mastering stage, recording my stuff like back in 90s – take-at-once, no overdubs.

  • I am brainless only.
