  • I can’t figure out how to save in this. As I recall, the RRS apps are a little different in this respect - any pointers?

@RedRockSound Congratulations with your first synth, and such an interesting one! Are you willing (if possible) to add a poly-mode? Even if it’s just limited to 3 voices, so at least a chord can be made.

I'm interested to find out what this one sounds like

It’s for Reason, looks a bit ancient and the only vid around as far as I can see, in French oui ! oui !

    Thank you

I would like a polyphonic version. I will never understand software mono synths

Is this not polyphonic? If not, 100% agree that there shouldn't a limitation here.

It’s duophonic, like the original. But that limitation has no place on a digital version. They removed the input and added distortion so is not like they are trying to be a 100% faithful reproduction.

It sounds great being duophonic too, stop crying about features that doesn't exist. I wouldn't mind if it was polyphonic, but if you do, there is probably another synth with enough voices. This is a lead and bass machine that stands firmly on its current ground.

It’s our party and we cry if we want to.

  • One can use multiple instances to achieve polyphony. It isn't as straightforward as you might think to implement a poly mode that doesn't weigh heavily on the CPU.

  • …and no arp, sequencer, effects, host tempo sync for the lfo…

Seriously though none of that bothers me, just happy to have such a great sounding mono synth :)

Same. Very unique sound, really dig it!

  • with polythemus it's quite easy to achieve something mpe/polyphony 'like'

  • Anthony Saunders Polythemus : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/polythemus-au/id1439815017

Make ANY mono synth AU Polyphonic

There’s a Mozaic script that imitates that behavior as well.

Hi - sorry to ask again, but does anyone know how to save presets in this?

Unfortunately, there is no way to save presets in the plugin. But you can save presets using the DAW feature. Which DAW are you using?

  • If there are so many requests for more voices, we can add 2 more voices to the existing 2. There is no technical problem in this.
But I have a counter request for you, leave a review in the App Store :)

Thanks for your response. I am using AUM mostly, but also use Loopy Pro and Drambo. Maybe in the future you might consider allowing users to save their presets within the app so that they may use the same presets cross platform.

Will have a detailed hour long Walkthrough up later today going into the main features, some special aspects of the synth, quick demo of all presets, plus how to make it operate polyphonically right now, without waiting for the update. Stay tuned!

    Well done that man.

  • Regarding the possibility of saving user presets: Now a requirement for Ivoks - iOS9 or later. To add the ability to save presets, need to increase the requirement to iOS13 or later, because only with iOS13 it is possible to add this feature. So to add save presets we need to increase the iOS requirement, we don't want to do that yet. Because users of iOS9 through iOS12 will lose product support and updates. Adding this feature is possible later, when all bugs and glitches are fixed.

As for polyphony, we will replace 2 voices with 4 voices in the next update. We will also fix the found bugs in the work of the synthesizer.
