And also don't think that I'm ignoring the talk about the size of Ivoks on iPhones, we will correct this shortcoming and everything will be in the best possible way. Therefore, the update is a little bit delayed.
We have EMS-01 from the same Formanta manufacturer. But basically it is the same polivox with the addition of an electric organ, a very heavy thing.
@RedRockSound well, for example, you could give us an iOS version of this 🤤

Great plan about the saturation drive, and good to have the 3C in there as well, everything in one unit.
+1 Now THAT would be awesome!
Interesting thing, but I think it's hard to find at a flea market.
YES PLEASE!
THIS is what I’m talking about!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 My favorite EQ is going MASSIVE!! I can’t wait 😎
Agreed. Didn’t take long to figure out these were something special on IOS. Brought the CL1, was impressed. That led to the Passive EQ and I was like “HOLY S**T, Why didn’t nobody tell me!” Ran to the App Store and brought them ALL.. its was no need for research. Red Rock is the real deal
❤️🙏🏻
The maag eq is really good if anyone wants more suggestions https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rrs-eq3/id1507895144. The bass enhancer and the exciter are really great sounding too. Just get everything by them so they can make even more apps

How does emulating vintage equipment as software works? does you take some impulse responses or what?
That’s great, I wasn’t going to say anything about that cause I love the sound so much.
I bought the filter too for same reason.
I understand asking for an envelope follower for the incoming audio is probably a bit much, so any chance you can expose related parameters so that I may use FAC Envolver to make you’re filter behave as such?
This synth has the "it" factor for sure. Gnarly.
I was just visiting the AppStore. These guys could use some good reviews. Their products deserve it IMHO.
is mpe compatibility an option?
Update
Oh nice, time I got the license for this, I actually got a bunch of the weird op amps they use to make the filter the other day so I'll be making my own next week I think
Was waiting for the poly mode, great you did it! But now it’s 11.99 €. Never realized the (great) price was an intro price… I’ll pass until it’s on sale
ah gutted, I shoulda woulda coulda... too busy playing with vamps and valves
Fair Enough.
I think it’s time I grab this one. Haven’t grabbed an app in awhile. Are this and Trooper at all similar? I have neither but was curious?
Crap I didn’t know it was Intro either. I’m sure it’s probably still worth it but I should have grabbed it at $5 regardless. You snooze you lose I guess.
Update - yup $9.99 in the States.
Or maybe I saved a fiver 😅
Argh! Must be the curse of the valved Vampyr! 😮
I have both and will say they are both of the same ilk. In other words, you’ll really love Ivoks if you love Trooper. I’m NOT trying to say that if you have one, you don’t need the other.
Trooper has a more polished interface that scales better than Ivoks, even after today's update. It's an evolution of the Minimoog design and sound.
Ivoks has a nasal-sounding filter that I like and that sets it apart from other synths I have, including Trooper. (Both have really buzzy oscillators, which is a feature in my book.)
Ah that's really a pity that there was never any mention that it was on intro price. Still well worth getting at 10 bucks, 5 was far too cheap imo and it is easily one of the most interesting releases of the year
Thanks @dokwok2 @Blipsford_Baubie
I didn’t closely examine the 2, but based on some of the edgy, buzzy sounds I heard from both, and the similar look I got the feeling they were in a similar universe, if you will. Thanks for the info.
