  • This sounds really excellent but I am not having any joy getting multi-out to work in AUM - firstly, unlike some plugins, it only has one version, there is not a separate multi-out version, but that’s fine. Anyway, once opened, you can then open multi out instances in other channels - but none of them make any sound. Anyone else?

You need to set the output channel. Long press the pad you want to route to a new channel and select the 'audio output' option.

  • Ah, thanks, knew I must be doing sth wrong. This does not work like most multi-out apps. However - this means you need to set up multi-out over and over again any time you change preset - or is there some workaround? That’s time-consuming

Lovely sequencing on these btw, killer beats for sure

Whoa this app is addictive. I have other things to do, but… so many beats…

Does look good.... Now if only I could get Jamal to reply to me and get a giveaway vid going 😝

Good luck with that..we didn't even get a "thanks" for helping with the launch yesterday and answering questions among the socials, groups and here 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m going to guess they’re pretty busy right now.

I’m speaking in regards to when Jamal came in the afternoon of the launch yesterday. We were already dealing with the problems of the plugin for hours at that point. He came in..answered like 4 questions and left. No acknowledgement of the morning’s events

  • Great sounds from this let down by a half finished app. Stability is pretty so so to say the least and this is on a M1 iPad.

What stability issues are you having? I played around with the app A LOT yesterday and didn’t have any issues whatsoever. iPad Air 4

@GospelMusicians The factory loops are not installed correctly on my IPad pro 2017, IOS16.1. The two other packages are ok. Already tried to delete and reinstall but, no no…

[edit] in fact, there is no preset but when loading a loop on a specific pad, it open the list with all the loops, so I guess this is the standard behaviour…

    Kind of a head scratcher.
Do you know what the main use case is for a loop you cant edit being assigned to a single pad?

  • I like the fact that each pad can be run through the full set of GM effects, plus you can load your own audio unit FX plugins into the chain in standalone.

I have worked out how to export a user preset but I cannot see how to re-import it, anyone know? Nice that the exported presets are XML files as that should speed up changing some of the parameters as the long-press menu is a bit slow when you want to change multiple pads.

Has anyone worked out the maximum sample length?

Stutters on load. Doesn’t respond to touch that well. Crashes on resizing.

You may have already done this, but did you do a hard restart and then test it?

  • By the way, for anyone wondering, this weighs in at around 750-800mb after downloading all the samples. That's probably info that would be useful added to the app store description.

    That AND that’s it’s AUv3

Good question. For me, the best use case is something like Glitchbreaks but this is not possible in this app

Much apologies and thank you for all the help! As someone mentioned, yes with a new launch we have not only this forum to cover, but many others as well as tech support. Our Black Friday for all desktop and iOS products has launched today and it is hectic.....but no excuse for not saying thanks.

This has been said so many times, but for issues, the best way is always directly to us from our Contact Us form.

    Thanks everyone for the support!

PS: I may be quiet here, because of the amount of support and issues we may have to cove.

Does this work well with MIDI if I use it on my Ipad paired with a Roland Electronic Drum kit ? Is it velocity sensitive, I mean ?
    Looks interesting.

  • Hello everybody 😊
Here is my live stream for Splat-to-Clat, I hope you enjoy the video.

Even my 512 gig ipad is at a point where I constantly have to delete stuff so I'm very picky about samples. This is worth it for me as sampled drums often sound better than electronic for my taste, and it's auv3 but I avoid sampled synths, romplers, pianos etc as much as possible. Physical modeling is the future for sure.

  • Bought after watching all 6 videos on home page of the app.
@GospelMusicians , can please reconsider adding start, end knobs for additional control over samples?
I know amp envelope is there, and for one shots prepared externally it is enough, but always there also experimental side of sampling, where we put loop and try to chop for example snare, without making save-to-disk-separate-file-externally.
You know what I mean, like normal sampler.

I’m glad from separate outs, fxs, synth engine of amp, filter and mod, content factory, possibility to assign Program Change.
Yes, I didn’t play more than minute, but I will today (I bought it on 2:30 am, and prepare now to work, but during work I have many breaks to check the apps).

And congratulation for overall concept. I didn’t check if pitch envelope drop is possible (to do techno style kick from sine wave), but I know - it is not fac drum kit ;)
One more time thank you for this drum machine in this intro price.

  • Is anyone else having trouble even getting the downloads to be persistent? Everytime I reopen either this or Pure Synth Platinum it asks to download again.

Both mentioned apps downloaded only one time factory content and it is there even after close apps and reopen on my iPad Pro 4-Ty.

  • No probs for me with splat2clat, whether standalone or as AUv3 in AUM

  • I’m loving the sound of this. The only thing holding me back is I’m extremely low on disk space and I’ll have to make room.
Couple of questions. Sorry if they’ve been answered already.

    • Does it hace timestreching?. Like Koala, where you can play loops from a pad in time with the bpm. I’m guessing it doesn’t, just to make sure.
    • Say you like one of the included midi files. Can you bounce/record them to a daw/sequencer to edit?. Ot maybe add a variation for a chorus, etc… What would be the process for this?.

    Cheers!
