I would like to have splat-to-clat running on my iPhone, EVEN WITH SMALL THE SAME GUI LIKE ON the IPAD but on smaller screen (to use zoom function) , are anybody also interested in such solution? I’m interesting in other people POV about asking dev for small gui-but-running-on-iPhone.

    Obviously I’m in 😂

This is on my list actually of apps I wish was on iPhone, along with most of klevgrand’s catalogue and, now, Mariana.

Tbf @GospelMusicians usually come through with the iPhone goods.

I asked dev for Tomofon on iPhone, they see similar problem with screen size like GospelMusicans, and I understand : it can lead to some question /frustration by users who want prepared GUI for iPhone.
This is similar like ButterSynth : better to have the same GUI like on iPad working on iPhone than not. Yes , some developers are trying to be perfect and I understand, but hey , we accept some shortcuts thanks to zoom function.

Skaka is the one I’ve always wanted for iPhone. They’ve saved me a lot of money over the years by being iPad only though!

@GospelMusicians or anyone knows if theres some realistics acoustics drum kits with layers and round robin?

This is for electronic drums mostly, but there are some amazing realistic drums in there. Our Acoustic drum set is in the works.

A year after this post, I would like to ask ... is it available yet?
I don't see any mention of this in the app's version history. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/splat-to-clat/id6443473253

Yes I still hope for a professional sounding acoustic drums like Modo drums. Drum perfect pro will soon be update with better auv3 handling. Although very good not in the same league as modo drums with infinite sounding for greater realism.

We've mentioned this many times and in many places that AudioBus Forum, or any other forum is not the correct place to communicate with us. There are about 20-different Blog spots, 10-15 more on Facebook Groups, etc...and it is impossible for any company to keep track of 10-20 different forums. The best place to communicate with us is through our Support on our website.

Hi, I'm interested in building apps that help small biz like yours for managing communications across the web. I personally find it most growth-oriented to embrace any comms that happen across the web as able to. When better tools exist, it can be as easy as managing comms from your one official channel. Like a chat app that aggregates comms from all those platforms, and makes it easy to copy external comms , for example. These kind of tools currently exist but can be very expensive or require dedicated extra time to figure out how to save time with.

I'm an iOS dev vet since start of the App Store - background in startup b2c social plus enterprise apps at scale, currently independent and looking to build apps for music from angles including tools for music app businesses. LMK if you have any feedback, thx. These would be free apps with optional premium stuff later but emphasis on valuable permanently free tier.

One of the worst programmed plugins I’ve bought and I have over 400. It takes ages for patches to load. GUI is like made with Win 3.11. There are very few global settings and you have to tweak every kit one by one. Etc. etc. It’s a shame because there are some great sounds in it.

Actually, I agree on this - great great sounds but overall UX is seriously lacking. Could really use someone who knows about good UX design on the team

I'm puzzled, genuinely, over the enthusiasm by some for this developer. Their apps sound great, not above many others imo but they're fine. The interface, however, is a masterful flow buster. Just choosing a patch in Bassalicious when the drop down box won't fold away after selecting a patch on my iPad Pro means that I never use it

For me, I regard this developer as quality mainly related to reliability. I never find that a project loads playing the wrong notes, I never find myself needing to midi panic due to stuck notes etc. I do find that with Beathawk, Decent Sampler, Tera Pro, FRMS etc. I think PureSynth and Bassalicious 2 are some of the few apps I have that just never crash or go a bit weird in use.

Having spent decades navigating synths with complex menu systems and bewildering button combinations, I think many folks are just comfortable tapping their screen once to remove the menu, given that it sounds incredible.

That must be where I'm going wrong. So, to be clear, I... tap... the screen...? and you're saying the menu folds away? Well, you live and learn! Appreciate your help.

Yeah, the big X in the top right of the preset window to be specific. Happy to help.
