How is Tap Delay? I think it’s one of the only delays I don’t have at this point. Now that it’s on sale I’m even more tempted.

I like it a lot and it's another nice @VirSyn app I'd love to see updated slightly and have it brought to macOS.

How does it compare to other tap delays in your opinion? I have Yukawa, RE-1, and Timeless that all do tap delay. And TTAP and Kosmonaut too. The problem is they all differ just enough to make me want them all 😂

LOL. I have nearly all of them also. Every one of them does the job in a different way, so realistically you could use any ONE of them for most projects, but why not get more and then decide for yourself what you like or don't like. ;)

Yes, I asked them if they were planning on bringing anything to iPadOS and they don't discuss future products... but I did get the impression they may be looking into it.

Honestly after the release of Logic and with how far the iPad has come (and how many other devs are porting/already ported) I feel like any company should at least consider or look into it, if it’s possible for them anyway.

  • @HotStrange VirSyn Tap Delay is killer. I’ve used it since its pre auv3 release and I’ve always gotten great results with it. Recommend it for sure.

Reggae Drummer is $5 off at $12.99

It's disappointing that Apple still has not created Reggae, Swing or other drumming styles for either GarageBand or Logic Pro for mobile or desktop. I inevitably have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the kind of drumming out of the software that I'm really looking for.

Didn’t have you down as a reggae man @NeuM , not gonna lie!

Haha. I'm a drummer at heart, so I am open to all styles of drumming. Love the work of Sly and Robbie, for example.

Cherry Audio just keeps putting out gems. Harmonia is really awesome, I like that they sprinkle in some unique synths a lot in addition to the emulations

Agree. Really like the fact that they are breaking new ground more often now instead of just doing older synths (and I love their emulations too).

Honestly pretty tempting because the app does sound great. But I had to remove it from my iPad temporarily until I upgrade. It just takes up too much space and I wasn’t using it enough. The experimental/noise/cinematic packs are genuinely fantastic.

Audiothing Valves Intro pricing has been extended to Sept 30th. Only $4.99 will be $14.99

I wonder if that's because of all the competition. The number of valve releases has been insane!

If you woulda asked me a couple weeks ago what type of app would have 3 releases in the span of a week, Tube/Valve saturation apps wouldn’t have been my guess 😂 but I do genuinely like all 3 and (imo anyway) they’re different enough to justify having each. My personal favorite is WoodValvet though.

@HotStrange VirSyn Tap Delay is killer. I’ve used it since its pre auv3 release and I’ve always gotten great results with it. Recommend it for sure.

Thanks! I’m considering it especially now since it’s half off. I have so many tape style delays but that one being a tap delay as well is a unique approach. Do you find it different enough from the other tape delays? ReelBus, K7D, Wires, etc?

How is Tap Delay? I think it’s one of the only delays I don’t have at this point. Now that it’s on sale I’m even more tempted.

I like it a lot and it's another nice @VirSyn app I'd love to see updated slightly and have it brought to macOS.

How does it compare to other tap delays in your opinion? I have Yukawa, RE-1, and Timeless that all do tap delay. And TTAP and Kosmonaut too. The problem is they all differ just enough to make me want them all 😂

LOL. I have nearly all of them also. Every one of them does the job in a different way, so realistically you could use any ONE of them for most projects, but why not get more and then decide for yourself what you like or don't like. ;)

You’re right 😂 lately I’ve decided to stop artificially limiting what I buy and just buying the apps I want. You only live once as they say. Might as well try ‘em all.

I gave in and just bought the Harmonia synth from Cherry Audio and I don't regret it for one second. LOL.

Cherry Audio just keeps putting out gems. Harmonia is really awesome, I like that they sprinkle in some unique synths a lot in addition to the emulations

They’re one of the developers that sometimes makes me wish I still had a desktop. I’m overall content just on iOS but damn I wish they’d port their apps 😩
