That looks to be 40% more than what I remember paying for the full unlock… inflation is killing everyone!
Agreed. I don’t ad block on YouTube at all - I just don’t watch videos where the ad intrusions exceed my interest in the video. Problem solved!
Was gonna say, I definitely don't remember paying anywhere near that amount. I posted a interesting tweet the other day about software prices:
Lately there has been music videos, mini lectures and even full-blown ones
I was baffled with a 40min ad some other day
And when I hear "MIDI CHORD PACK", I leave it running and go grab a cuppa
Where are you getting the impression inflation has returned to “normal”? It hasn’t. Prices are generally up 30-40% over the last 2 years and that has not reversed. The only thing that’s happened (at least in the US) is inflation has “slowed” somewhat. Things STILL cost 30-40% more than they used to and the buying power of money is reduced.
I guess you misunderstood that point. Inflation is decreasing just means the inflation numbers are lower than they were. But yes, the buying power of money is certainly lower than a few years ago, no question.
I believe you are correct, the Intro price was like $9.99 then it went to $19.99 for at least a little while, and at some point they raised Z, and actually Model D too, up to a “regular priced” $29.99. Model 15 started out at $29.99. Unfortunately you can’t see IAP pricing history on appsliced so I’m not 100% certain on the Animoog Z changes, but it’s definitely possible you paid 33% - 66% less then the regular full price. I got it on Intro pricing, at $9.99 the day it came out.
When I use it to listen to music I always do. You can pretty much listen to almost any song or album imaginable.
thanks at @MAtrixplan for pointing out the Animoog Z IAP is 50% off right now. It does look like IAPs are not on sale.
Lol. 😂 I haven’t seen that one recently, but I can’t tell you how many times it’s popped on in the past, lol.
Doesn’t load for me anymore in AUM. Works fine in ApeMatrix. YMMV I suppose for anyone wanting to pick this up.
Yes, that's what I thought I remembered.
It has been awol for some time, but popped 3 times since yesterday already
I bought it and it didn’t load for me at first either. I deleted and reinstalled and opened it in standalone first and then opened it in AUM and it worked. May want to try that. For whatever reason sometimes AUs will show as invalidated if you don’t open the standalone once before loading it. That’s why some apps have the disclaimer of “open the standalone app before using the AU”. You should only have to do that once though.
Thanks for the rec. I ended up grabbing it last night and you’re right, it’s great. And definitely different enough to justify its place on my iPad. Despite having other apps that can do tap delay, it’s more of an afterthought or extra addition. So it’s nice having a more straightforward tap delay. Now I just have to wait for UltraTap to go on sale and I’ll have them all 😂
Haha. Good move.
Needed a reinstall to get it going in AUM. Works as expected now. Thanks @HotStrange!
@HotStrange The way it uses saturation just sounds different and the way you can program the taps into the delay line is good. I think my favorite is the RE-1, the numerical audio tape delay.
RE-1 is great but it because of the play heads, the tap portion reacts differently than I want sometime. Or maybe I’m using it wrong lol
But I’m loving Tap Delay so far too. I’m a sucker for a delay anyway, it’s my favorite effect. So my answer for any delay is usually “man this is awesome” lol
Glad it’s working for you 👍🏻
@HotStrange Nice. I like it too.
