  • New app from Mr. Zolotov Relic Waves, it’s like V2 of Fractil bits, over 4 billion possible Lofi sounds made from math, only $1.99, 6.1mb. Cool.

Welcome to the fray! I think we all lurked before we dove in, lol.

LOL. Facts. Thanks for the welcome.

Definitely PayPal directly, these slightly less in fees, but if Kofi is more convenient based off your method of donation that will work too. To clarify PayPal. Cheers!

    Paypal it is!

I think $10 for Bleass arp is a great price. It can really do a lot of cool midi arp and sequencing, both with notes and chords. Honestly I was really hoping it would only be $10 on intro price so I could get it immediately and it was. Will be $14.99 after December 4th.

That's a good price all around. Appreciate your thorough explination of Tonality btw! It looks like that app goes on sale on and off alot so I'm gonna hang off until the next time. On app sliced it has the longest price chain history i've ever seen lol.

I got Tonality for free 2/3 years ago during the music day sale they do and couldn’t believe how useful it is. I still use it all the time for a dozen different reasons.

That's dope! I am gonna keep an eye out for a deal on it! Thanks for your input.

  • Thank you @offbrands cool handle by the way too. If you create a free account on appsliced you can have it email you if the price drops. Create account, search for app, select app, select email notification when price drops below your set price point. Could see another discount around the holiday season which is very close. Cheers.

Bleass Arp and Tonality are both must have. Tonality is like 5 apps in one and very useful for chord progression. And Bleass Arp is a top app of the year for me and I have only played with it 2-3 hours.

Welp here I go getting the Bleass arp app. Big day for me. Got Voices today too and am waiting to get home to plug my mic in to mess around! Thanks for the input.

Thanks! I always try and snag the same handle has that’s my creative portfolio/ design studio name. Which, evidently, is more common than I thought. A huge YouTuber uses “offbrand” for their studio which I didn’t know until recently. Handles are tough!

App sliced never sends me any updates! I don’t know if they do that or not but I figured it would email me when price drops happened on my saved alerts. I have added several alerts and this forum is where I always find them out. Almost lost out on the Pure Acid one because of the non notification. No emails from them anytime. Not even in the spam folder.

  • @offbrands Yea I set mine awhile ago, not my preferred option, never changed it, and it’s probably too late, lol.

I just bought, this may not be true, but it seems to have more tonal stuff than Fractil Bits. I could see using them both.

Yes, it seems that both this and Fractal Bits produce a mix of tonal and atonal sounds, but sounds in this can be sustained and sometimes evolve a lot over time too. I like Fractal Bits, both are very useful and so cheap, but for my personal preferences, this one is definitely the one I would chose!

I bought it too, that was my original impression before purchasing and doing a little Reading. Also in App Store description it says better for pads and fx, as opposed to the shorter percussion sounds and fx in fractal. I like it a lot. Tons of unique sounds you can do anything with for $2 well worth it.

That’s about right, based on trying a few iterations of the new one compared with having used Fractal bits for quite a while. And it is an endless mine of sounds which can be woven into so many things, as percussion, or a bit of texture etc.

You probably are. It is a spectrum after all. It's only when it can be measured that they say you have it.

Yeah keep an eye out. I forgot what day music day is but they tend to do it every year. It’s worth the price either way, but something to look out for definitely

    Same here.

  • Autism is just a word describing certain mannerisms and ways of perceiving the world. It’s fairly fluffy. I have autistic traits too, and couldn’t care less if people co-opt the word. Anyway, grabbed the apps :)

  • Sorry for the kerfuffle I caused earlier with my post. I was directing that post at our known small pocket of fellow Autistic and Neurodivergent musicians like @HotStrange and @Fear2Stop who might appreciate the nice distraction.

I sometimes forget how public a post can be. Apologies.

And to add some relevance…a reminder that the 30% discount on Scaler 2 is still available ($12.99) until December 13th:

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/scaler-2/id1603180235

It’s much harder to keep track of which IAP discounts are still running.
