Same. Same. There’s a couple apps I want right now, both around $20-$25 but simply can’t afford, so I’ll have to delay. Wondering 2 things here, how is it on cpu/DSP in a relatively average size session? (I know it varies but something like 2-4 Au synth/drum apps, with a couple midi apps) also how much of a learning curve does this one have? at first glance it appears like it could be steep.
I haven’t properly used it in a session to sus out its CPU usage but it definitely has a steep learning curve. I’ve had it for 2 months and I still haven’t touched over half of it haha

Oh I didn’t realize there was another new update! I’ll have to check it out. The devs videos on it have been pretty good and comprehensive enough to get me started. Seems like a good dude!
Very powerful but it has a learning curve. Better for drums than melodic stuff. Has a new manual and video out, hopefully the new manual is clearer than the old one. Seems expensive but when you take in the recent additions of sample-loading and Plaits synth engine, it's not.
The plaits engine was a shocker for me. Can’t wait to dive in tonight. You tried it yet Gav?

Never thought about it from that view, it's a very valid point, even when you have plenty of time on your hands. This constant learning odd ways of doing the same thing is painful.

crap. I downloaded but didn’t open it yet. There was no mention of any IAP in the App Store so I thought it was good. I’ve noticed this in other apps too. There’s no mention of an IAP, but once you open up there’s something similar to that picture.
There are other apps like this, as well as web apps, web tools, and you can always use chat GPT, or an app that uses it.
Meh, gonna be deleting this one. I tried to analyze a picture of my cat and the app gets stuck at 99% and just spins its wheels. Oh well! Thanks for all that you do, @Poppadocrock
16.1 on my iPhone and 16.3 on the iPad. I like the idea and it is funny and easy
By the way, everyone who already owns the iOS version of the Nambu synth app now gets the Apple Silicon (M1 & M2 computers) version for free. Works as standalone AND as an Audio Unit for GarageBand and Logic Pro.
Just open the App Store on desktop, re-buy the synth and it will say you already own it so the download is yours at no extra charge.
