Nice! Love Jades videos. I have them both on my to buy but for my uses, the cheaper option is probably better. I mostly just want the auto tune sound. How different is this from the other new MusicPutty app I wonder.

It’s not a subscription, for one!

Ah yeah forgot the other was a subscription app. I’d probably be better off buying the paid version. Bummer.

@HotStrange music putty is very different I think. That’s more of just a pitch tracker. If it’s the app I’m thinking of…

Maybe but you should really explore both because I don’t think Vocal Tune Studio will be $14.99 that often. Or maybe it will what do I know… intro pricing was $19.99, then it was $24.99, now it’s on sale for $14.99. I only just got studio, and don’t have pro, so it might be better to ask in those particular threads to get the answers you need. Cheers.

Here’s the vocal tune studio thread, but there’s a couple…

Ah I see. So studio has the auto tune stuff and the vocal editing. Thanks! Gonna go with studio so I don’t have another subscription to worry about.

If you use Cubasis you could also consider the Waves Tune Real-Time plugin. I got it during a sale for $3.

That would be more like Vocal Tune Pro. Waves Tune in Cubasis is not a pitch editor like Vocal Tune Studio.

So to clarify Studio - autotune AND pitch editing. Pro - autotune only?

True. I was referring to @HotStrange's statement "I mostly just want the auto tune sound."

Basically. In Studio you can also do time correction on vocals and there is a separate mode for time correction on any audio material.

    Yes!

  • ^ This x 1000

  • Obviously I caved 🙄
    Seems pretty great for £4.
Really like if has width, filter and side chain built in, saves a few nodes in the chain. Seems to sound nice on short times as well 👍🏻

By the way, there are a ton of FAC Alteza presets here. I think they were posted by a user here previously, if I recall correctly.

To install them (both iOS and desktop):

Press and hold on the "Init" (patch loader button) until you get a pop-up screen, then select the ZIP file to upload the zipped patches. Do not unzip the presets or they won't import.

  • I noticed that FAC Alteza has some IAP’s. What are they? Just presets or something else?
