I’m still tripping over the fact the Moog Apps used to be free and I didn’t know 🤣

Even worse in my case, I was totally aware but didn't have an iPad. Only bought it a couple years later.

That’s around the time I got my iPhone , when it was free lol

Yea I was able to get it free that one day 16 months ago. As you saw from the pricing history, this is the lowest it’s ever been other then that one day in January 2022.

any one know of any high quality IR’s for convolution reverb, on sale.
Or where to get them just in general

I know where to get amp IR’s, but lost on where to find Room, hall, plate, cathedral, type IR’s

I’d love to get one from AIR studios, since a lot of my orchestral libraries where recorded there

Search the forum - I’m sure there’s a thread about that somewhere.

Waves has a massive free library, I think they work in anything, not sure though. I just searched free ir convolution reverbs and a bunch came up. Here’s the link to the Waves page.

Reason also has severe links to free irs on their site. Link

It does, plus tonality has an Au version. This is standalone only. It is cool though, it shows the notes on staff, note name, and displays the note interval. It’s new, so might only be free for an initial period, then it will be $4.99. Might as well download it while it’s free though, that’s my modus operandi.

Pulse is cool, but I personally prefer DS2. There are a few reasons, but the main two are the multi-layers for samples, and adjusting the parameters like velocity, probability, etc… in DS2’s sequencer. In DS2 you can draw across multiple steps on the “controller” sliders, or set them at a very precise percentage, which is displayed at the top. I love seeing the actual percentage, because I can add slight variety a lot easier. Lots of drum sequencers don’t show the exact amount, For example, you can make every hit, on smaller patterns, slightly different, or I can make the probability of two steps similar but different, ie 85% and 81%.

Good news is 4Pockets runs rotating sales, so if you can’t get it now, I’m sure it will be on sale sometime again within the next 3 months.

Both are good apps, but I personally prefer DS2, just to throw that out there, lol.

  • Writing

BlogMuse is free, was $1.99, then $.99, now free. AI writing. No subscription but does have some tracers.

Agreed, When it comes to sequencer features, Digistix does have the upper hand. Does Digistix 2 have a pattern generator ?

That is really cool. And one of the main reasons I want. It just seems like a really deep app. And I’m a sucker for drum machines and samplers and feel like I gotta have them all 😂

May not be everywhere. It's been on sale twice recently and I haven't see the price change once in the AU store.
