May not be everywhere. It's been on sale twice recently and I haven't see the price change once in the AU store.

    On the french one neither.

I still love EG pulse but who am into deny someone else what they may be looking for?

Oh man this is tempting been wanting it for a while, but can’t really afford the extra funds atm. Looks great thiufh! And agreed, Pulse is fantastic.

Pulse is cool, but I personally prefer DS2. There are a few reasons, but the main two are the multi-layers for samples, and adjusting the parameters like velocity, probability, etc… in DS2’s sequencer. In DS2 you can draw across multiple steps on the “controller” sliders, or set them at a very precise percentage, which is displayed at the top. I love seeing the actual percentage, because I can add slight variety a lot easier. Lots of drum sequencers don’t show the exact amount, For example, you can make every hit, on smaller patterns, slightly different, or I can make the probability of two steps similar but different, ie 85% and 81%.

Good news is 4Pockets runs rotating sales, so if you can’t get it now, I’m sure it will be on sale sometime again within the next 3 months.

Both are good apps, but I personally prefer DS2, just to throw that out there, lol.

I agree with all that about DS2, it’s excellent. I just wish there was a humanise feature for timing, rather than everything being 100% quantised. This is something that is on other 4P apps - Progressions for example. I’ve tried using Drambo’s humanise MIDI feature in conjunction with DS2, but I’d much prefer it was built into the app itself.

Agreed. If I don’t use the internal sequencer for DS2, I simply throw a Mozaic with a Ranbo script (random velocity and timing) or use a sequencer with the offset option.

There’s a couple quasi workarounds, as you mentioned with drambo, but yea that is probably the only thing I would like to see added, along with sequencer speed.

Sometimes I record all the midi out of DS2 into Atom 2 the apply some timing randomization before sending it back to trigger DS2.

Oh nice! Been wanting this one, but couldn’t justify $15 with no connectivity. But for free, hell yeah. I can just screen record and pop that into Sitala to make a kit.

Now I just need eSPI to go on sale.

Tough decision. Do I get this on sale to use within Multicore Cubasis or just get AEM, and I think this is within the app, or is it just like the intro version, you must upgrade to like Pro full IAP? Anyone know

  • Yea, vocal tune studio is $10 off down to $14.99, cheaper than the intro price of $19.99. Useful for more then just vocals too.

  • Oops sorry I somehow missed this and thought it wasn’t listed yet. It must not have been showing on my phone yet because I thought I checked. Sorry !

What else are you using it for? Also do you (or anyone else) know the difference between the 2 versions the dev has?

Yes I asked this recently. Let me find it…

@HotStrange i couldn’t find my question and answer in a previous thread, but Vocal Tune Pro is a simpler app for pitch adjustment only, basically for auto tune like effect, but Vocal Tune Studio gives you a ton of control, pitch and time adjusting, and is comparable to something like Melodyne on Mac/PC. There’s some videos up, I know @Jadestar did one.

Here’s a video the developer shared using a guitar solo.

Guitar solo editing with Vocal Tune Studio in Cubasis (non-intended purpose, but works!)

  • Vocal Tune studio is super powerful.

  • Utility

Remote Mouse & Keyboard is free usually $3

  • Nice! Love Jades videos. I have them both on my to buy but for my uses, the cheaper option is probably better. I mostly just want the auto tune sound. How different is this from the other new MusicPutty app I wonder.

It’s not a subscription, for one!

@HotStrange music putty is very different I think. That’s more of just a pitch tracker. If it’s the app I’m thinking of…

Maybe but you should really explore both because I don’t think Vocal Tune Studio will be $14.99 that often. Or maybe it will what do I know… intro pricing was $19.99, then it was $24.99, now it’s on sale for $14.99. I only just got studio, and don’t have pro, so it might be better to ask in those particular threads to get the answers you need. Cheers.

Here’s the vocal tune studio thread, but there’s a couple…
