In February 2022, Meta acquired Accusonus for a figure reported to be between €70 and €100 million. All support and future development of the products I bought from them appear to be gone.

    It’s digital robbery.

Seriously. I had to get my iPad replaced, and when I switched all my apps over, Beatformer disappeared since it was taken off the App Store.

It is not anymore in the App Store and no alert about that. I whish Apple to implement at least a notification when an apps you buy is definitely out of the AppStore.

I also wish you could get a refund in cases where the developer pulls it from the iOS store in this way. But maybe that’s asking too much.

It’s ridiculous when developers sell, but leave customers in the dark, with no downloads let alone service.

    Totally. Digital robbery. {When I found out Auria Pro was abandonware not because of apathy but because WaveMachine Labs was sold by owner and chief coder, yet they continue to sell it knowing it doesn’t work and that they have no ability to update or maintain it, especially since the silicon, I was so mad I wasted $50}

so when devs sell they should either disclose the sale and their mission with existing IP OR just offer existing customers some kind of credit or boon for one of their software that they actually plan on maintaining and updating.

    Anyway you’re right

I am not a lawyer but I think that can be unlawful according to EU laws or even US in such cases has you know that it is plan that you will stop the apps so digital robbery.

When I was still working I add the same problem with a digital services, I had pay with PayPal ( in the AppStore I pay also with PayPal) and PayPal refund me 400 usd and as what not the sole in this case PayPal sue this company and the owner in court. So their garantee apply for Digital goods and services and in my case I bought something that was done partially but not delivered in the time as they delete it.

  • I lack any trust in AuriaPro because of that and no clear future. Anyway for what I do no needs for Auria Pro and I got Logic Pro working on my MacBook Air M1.

Never forget that buying some apps is not only monney but to spend a lot of time to learn it a serious way so it is a shame for Auria Pro as such a Daw need to invest many time.

Anyone know the difference between the older Beatformer app and KNOCK? I like Beatformer. Been using it for a long time. What does Knock offer that BF doesn’t? Maybe they’re completely different. I don’t know. I was thinking of purchasing KNOCK during this sale but if it’s similar to what I already have I’d rather spend my cash on something else. It’s been an expensive month. Thanks.

Yep I no longer have Beatformer because of this. Unfortunate.

Yea I luckily still have it on my iPad.

Sheesh. I know it’s a powerful app but I’m glad I never got it. Cubasis was/is my go to.

What is the source for this info? As a long-time Auria user that owns all the in-app purchases, I understand the frustration concerning the lack of updates and general instability. But it does continue to work on my m1 iPad Pro…

We can all thank Meta/Facebook and Mr. Suckerberg for Beatformers disappearance from the AppStore after their acquisition of Accusonus...

I guess they wanted the IP for that AR Metaverse crap they are developing, didn't that sh*t fail miserably already?!

Really. I did not know that.

  • Drum lab is on sale for $1.99 , was $5.99

I got DM1 so why Dm2 got in sales so low priced , they sop these apps ? A bit worry if I put on the bin DM1

  • If you have DM1 I wouldn’t waste money on this developers apps before the next generation app with AUV3 compatibility. DM1 was great over 10 years ago. It’s 2023 now.

They say on the App Store page that it’s a special price for “French Days.”

Inter-App Audio is still a thing. Doesn’t mean the app doesn’t work. If you’re worried about it you can always sample it into another app for the sounds at the very least.

In other news, .99 is pretty cheap for something available now while you wait for AUv3 @tuquoque

Sure. I have all three. Wouldn’t buy DM2 or Drumlab again even for .99 euro.

  • Would anyone please be able to tell me how much work it is to import kits from the DM apps into Sitala? The AppStore descriptions lead me to believe it might be pretty straightforward.
