Hm... will read back later regarding the drama...
But these demos sound really great 👍
Well no, this is factual proof refuting your earlier claim
You sent me codes for compander, I didn’t redeem any for myself, nor give any away, despite your above claim. Don’t accuse me of trolling when I am merely defending myself against an untrue claim. Now enough, this public spat is getting ridiculous
@CapnWillie @tja please step in here, this is getting intolerable
I think those photos show that your other apps use the screen more effectively. Maybe reducing the wide black margins around the piano apps would make them fill the screen also.
Not true.
Gavinski has given 1,000 times more to the iOS community than some "misguided" people here who simply use the forum to hype their apps, bag other developers, and can't take any critical comments with returning paranoid abuse.
In all my years of trying to help people no one has ever said "Thank You" when I point out that they are:
In this thread there are multiple examples of these personality types. And yet everyone has the best of intentions.
My wife always resets my righteous indignation with a simple question:
"Do you want to be effective in crafting a resolution or just continue to seek to be proven right?"
I generally go for "proven right" and that's why I never accomplished much but I sure tried to be noticed.
So... I wil wait (forever) for someone to say "Thank You". I will try and let the hot air out of this balloon of egos.
ONE OPINION: I have records of pianos. I want a Piano app that produces sounds similar to those recordings. I think
many of my Piano Apps do just that. None sound like piano strings in a quiet room being struck by felt hammers... none.
But they can make decent recording without the expense of a mic locker to do the work. In fact, most of them make recordings without too much noise (thank you A to D converters).
It's funny that the recent outrage is over the User Interface which is pretty much as it was on day 1.
Thanks Simon, finally some people stepping up. I’m very surprised how tolerant people have been of Jason’s abuse towards many people here.
Nothing promised - you never asked for them to be sent back, none were redeemed by anyone. You can check that yourself I’m sure.
How does one "send back" promo codes? You have complete access to previously generated codes in App Store Connect for the active version, and prior codes will not work, normally. Did you experience some sort of glitch or data loss?
Calling him sneaky implies that an agreement was broken and codes were redeemed without your permission. This is a very serious accusation in this community, did that happen?
Send them back is a ridiculous concept - you have the codes yourself in the email you sent me. They would already have expired by now. But if you can check whether they have been redeemed or not, go do it. I already showed you a screenshot proving that I didn’t redeem one for myself. Why would I have given them to others without redeeming one for myself? I didn’t redeem it because I found the app flawed and I didn’t like your manner of communication and decided I didn’t want to deal with you. Hence I ended our email correspondence when you started getting a bit nasty. Nor did I give any away. End of story.
This whole thing is getting beyond farcical, and I still can’t believe that things have been allowed to go this far.
The Forum moderators are asleep at the wheel.
Codes expire after 28 days, as I’m sure you know. For the record, I suggested making a video on your Compander app. We both agreed - amicably - that that was not in your best interests due to the glitching caused by changing levels in real time. I had already made a vid, but - again - totally amicably - agreed not to publish it. You then said I should publish it. I said I didn’t want to publish it as it wouldn’t do your app any favours. At that point you started getting a little aggressive. I then stopped responding because I could already see that it wasn’t going to end well and that you were not the kind of person I would enjoy dealing with. I didn’t publish the video, didn’t redeem an app code for myself. Nor did I give any away.
