🙌 I’m 100% Dan, except I don’t have the balls to say it. I usually think I’m the only one who doesn’t know what the f**k they’re talking about.

Yeah, he made me realise even those who’d been there years didn’t understand all that acronym speak, and helped diffuse a whole bunch of corporate nonsense during our time there. Unfortunately, despite the two of us helping to make them eye-wateringly large sums of additional profit via our time there, they made us both redundant. You have to play the game!!

‘Softer’ is the way I’d put it, and somehow more integrated with the sounds affected, rather than being the ambience they sit in, if that makes any sense.

Sometimes reverbs sound a bit harsh and detached, this one doesn’t.
Another feature I love is the implementation of the Mod, which is something that I can’t really tell in other reverbs until it’s too much, here there is more control over it.

Funnily enough I’ve just watched the video below, and the ‘Spooky’ setting almost knocked me off the fence, but then I managed to create something very similar with Yukawa, Silo, and Alteza. But saying that, just using one app would save all that hassle!

I’m over-thinking this, as usual…I’ll get there eventually.

Nice examples. Would like to hear how it all sounds in a full on song.

    Beautiful, great demo!

    Thanks @Montreal_Music @oddSTAR @HotStrange @Slush
There are some very different Reverbs out there, each with a unique take. These days I'm glad there's an app like Aube. Not sure why but I never got into FF's Pro-R but it has so much love (I use the rest of their apps but for me that app didn't deliver).

I'd love to own a NightSky at some point but I most likely won't. Glad to hear you're sensing similarities with it.

The results do sound similar to my ears 😎
I realize the NightSky is a complex monster, but if the sound is what you’re after, Cascade is no slouch.

Yeah to be honest I was skeptical about AUBE at first but I find myself using it quite often now.

  • Cascade on the App Store Belgium is Top 2 for Paid apps just after Procreate. Success and proof that in Belgium we have still a quite strong an electro scene.

Thank you guys so much for all the positive feedback and support!

Just a small reminder: if you dig an app please take a minute to write an App Store review. I mean recall all apps that you've recently enjoyed and review them all :)
(We've only got two for Cascade so far ;) )

@YuriT Definitely my fav effect app of 2023 happy to post a review.

  • Are the parameters auv3 of Cascade available in Drambo?

Done! I’m so happy with Cascade, can’t thank you enough for making such a great app!

  • Without reading the thread, is there an end date on this intro sale?

On my way to do that now. Kudos on the best (imo) app of the year so far!

    Yes, of course

  • Thanks for this great magic app

  • This app is so good, and what an insane low price. Can’t believe there are only two reviews, even though I’m terrible at leaving them too. Left one now and will try to be better in future!

Don't forget the price goes up after 22nd May - it'll still be a bargain for an effect of this quality...

Sounds fairly similar to UA Silo?

On paper, maybe. In reality, no. Silo is a lot more diverse in the types of sounds it can achieve, but Cascade has a very beautiful sound quality to it, to my ears more ‘beautiful’ than Silo in many cases, and a much much more accessible

    Good to know thanks!

But yes - Silo is definitely far broader in scope. Definitely harsher though - have just been experimenting. I think if you like FX apps they are definitely both worth having.

You're right it does have a beautiful quality to it, smooth, almost "creamy", if reverbs can be such. I like what Silo does but this is really quite different.
