I swear, every damn time I see this thread I read it first as "Trump One ..." 😂

LMAO Please don’t use those 2 words together 😆

    Same.

  • Ok, lost ALL my presets with the new testflight update.. :( And when I create a new foldername/preset, this folder does not show up anymore in the ipad files, not on the auv3 and not on the standalone.

  • Looks good, though FAC Drumkit is covering all my drum synthesis needs for now

Email me through the website contact form and I’ll help you to get them back. Your presets should still be there, the app will have backed them up also.

This is definitely different enough from Drumkit to be worth buying, I'd say

Agreed, while FAC DK is awesome, Thump One can do some pretty interesting bass, 808 bass, and other various hybrids of kick/bass sounds, that make it quite different then other apps. I’m curious what the price point might be…? I guess we will find out soon enough.

  • By the way, has anyone attempted replicating a full Simmons drum kit in FAC Drumkit?

I still don’t understand why kick drum only apps exist. Someone please enlighten me.

Yes, I agree. I prefer a more complete percussive application, not just kick. Somehow Icegear might be a developer I would like to see doing that.

Anyway, playing around with this beta. See if I can squeeze something out of it that goes beyond.. let’s say Chowkick.

I’m stoked that we’re getting another Kick synth. We only have ChowKick and SynthDrum. Honesty we need more of these kick apps. We have quite a bit of percussive ones already. And I’m sure we’ll be getting a lot more percussive in the future. These dont come by too often, so I’m thankful.

Yep. We now have 3 kick apps and a hand clapping app. Now we just need a snare maker and cymbal maker (not kidding lol).

And then we need to combine them all into a single app… oh, wait… 😂

Hahaha that’s the issue I supposed. We technically already have it with DrumKit.

But having an app as deep as this just for snares or cymbals could lead to some interesting stuff. Or maybe my app addiction has gone too far 😂

  • @Freeco how it looks with oficial release of this app ?

I’m also curious. I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for any update on release 🍻

  • Coming very soon! Just had to wait for app store approval etc.

  • @Freeco
Nice one! Looking forward to seeing what it can do 🍻

very cool, my money are waiting :-)

  • Great stuff!

  • I’ll definitely be at the front of the line for this one. It’s absolutely fantastic.

  • Just bought Buzz Zone. I like this developer.

  • These apps easily win the smallest fonts used used for the preset-list award unless they are used in full-screen :sunglasses:
(Thankfully all the presets are accessible thru host-based preset browser so I can avoid the built-in one which hurts my eyes).

I may need to get bifocals.
