    Hmm...
...after reading thru the manual there it seems like there's no way to route any of the envelopes to the 'Mod Freq' which is damned near close to mandatory when a ring-modulator is present...

The limited number of modulation targets is one of the weaknesses of these apps, but you could always just use an external lfo, parameters are exposed (and nicely categorized too)

Which external lfo can you Name?

    Thanks

As Fruitbat mentioned above, midiLFOs is good, mlfo is another good option. I like midiLFOs because the UI is so pleasing. Actually though, for lfos and more, the app MMM by GS DSP is incredibly powerful, not just for lfos but also for other modulation sources like envelope followers etc. If I need to do something that midiLFOs can't do, MMM is first choice.

  • Would have considered buying but looks like, other than bugs and labels, this only got a couple of minor updates. Dev ignored every suggestion in this thread, not even a random button 🤷‍♂️

A random button would be useful for Blip Box too.

    My first thought

  • Work with Apematrix and you got all the LFOs you want
I wish I could pan the individual sounds in BlibBox.

All of the suggestions in the thread would have made the app better but the dev ignored every one of them. Didn’t even engage. Appears to be one of those ‘I’m sticking to my original “vision” of keeping it simple’ release and forget type of devs 😂

Hey Gsus thanks for considering Phase Monkey! I am planning to revisit Blip Box and Phase Monkey later this year after the launch for the new plug-ins dies down and I get some rest haha. I'm always taking note of people's feedback even though I don't respond immediately :)

9 months is definitely not immediately @rygrob 😂

Perhaps share what you do or don’t think you’re interested in exploring from the feedback for both apps?

Chill dude…if you don’t want the app don’t get it . Quit attacking the dev , especially when he said he DOESN’T respond immediately

Who made you chief? 😂 conversation between he and I thanks. Off you pop

Or maybe if you want the conversation to be between you and the dev, send him a private message (he doesn't bite) and keep your rubbish out of the public forum. If you post it in public, expect some people to disagree with you.

    Bingo

  • No worries, all I will say now is I will revisit them after I get some rest after this launch! Feel free to send a DM. In the mean time, check out the new plug-ins too :)

I couldn’t give less of a fuck what you two think or say. You’re what the ‘Ignore’ function was made for. Now do the same.

If you bring the vibe of the forum down with your stupidity, little man, then expect people to respond in kind.

@rygrob feel free to DM me for an intelligent, open conversation

Holy shit, he can be taught lol.

A drum machine isn’t the kind of thing you want randomized.

It will be the first intelligent conversation of his five years on Earth. I’m impressed!

Anyway, sorry @rygrob for hijacking the thread . I just hate entitled people attacking developers. Suggesting things is one thing but he took it too far

  • I've reopened this thread because some people thought it was unfairly closed.
I closed it because it was becoming argumentative.
Please try and keep it civil, or I'll delete the whole thing.

It got flagged a lot, by lots of different people.

Thank you Doug. It’s funny, the Dev and I had no issues. In fact, we had a rather interesting private discussion.
