And how can we record delay tails after pressing „stop“. My background is Ableton and there is something possible
Maybe create an empty pattern and switch to that before pressing stop
It works but seems you have to tweek rate or switch speed. So abelton becomes synced. Like it fights for tempo before tweaking but maybe just issue with module.
Can anyone test with a gate sequencer module to a Drambo instrument and auv3.
Would help me because where abelton needs internet. Unsure if Id have a network virus.
Cant also p-lock the speed to sequencer. Like you can with arp modules or retrig ( whatever has a menu ) To change via step sequence.
At about 25 onwards.
Cant p-lock the speed.
.
.
Is there something wrong with Drambo sequencer.
Triggering Bleass voices via Drambo keyboard or recorded playback from other sequencers is ok
but Drambo sequencer makes audio all sketchy.
Put a midi monitor before the plugin to check what’s going on
Cheers coko.
I think its just where Drambo isnt made for multiout fx or because of initial note midi ( from external keyboard or Drambo sequencer )
Midi mapping knobs etc would be ok.
It works in Aum but wanted Drambo so I could edit the note harmonics.
With Drambo. You can make it multiout but not with note midi.
Input 1 makes it ok with midi but wont be multiout.
Input 2 to start multiout. You cant add midi with chopping audio.
Wont be using anyway now, perhaps because of multi ipads and going back to another routing.
Would of made a sampler ipad. With bleass voices.
Still got a sampler ipad but no way to route a mic.
Can still use in aum. Just sample etc.
Help.. How do you simulate MidiStep’s CC Config ‘Prob Skip’ (Which skips on a selected note in the Seq..with Chance/Probability percentages), and ‘Prob Reset’ (Which Resets to the beginning of the Seq at a selected note with Chance/Probability percentages).. Or, is it possible? MidiSteps is such a great App, simulating it in Drambo could take it’s concept to new levels… Thanks..
Edit.. Seems I can do Prob Mute and Gate (Length) easily…
Would be nice to do the other CCs
Ok.. The Jump feature seems to be the answer… but how do you box it up and make it a module, control it LIVE?
Drambo with** iRig Duo Pro** - No Mono Input possible?
Posted this on Beepstreet Forum, but no feedback so far…
I cannot record a mono synth or guitar in Drambo because the „Audio Input Module“ and also the Track Audio settings only show „Ext. IN“.
No option to select channels, stereo or mono.
When i connect my RME Fireface, Drambo gives me all options, stereo and mono channels of the Interface.
Now one could think, its iRigs „fault“, but when I open iRig in AUM, AUM gives me the options to choose the stereo or the mono channels.
Has anyone around here had the same issue and a solution?
Ext. In is the correct setting. What do you mean by "cannot record"?
Have you done a simple recording test using Recorder or Flexi?
Drambo usually auto-adapts to what's available on the input. You can split a stereo signal into 2 mono channels or vice versa using the "Mono to stereo" and "Stereo to mono" modules.
Does this help?
Thanks very much for feedback. Sorry for not being precise enough on my post.
I am able to record, but it is only recording the left channel.
I read that Drambo auto-adapts but somehow it doesnt work with irig duo.
With my RME fireface the input module is not showing me „ext.in“ , its schowing me all input channels 1-12 in mono and in stereo.
I don't have the iRig Duo but it seems like it acts like a simple class compliant audio interface.
If you add the Stereo to Mono module and connect both its inputs to the iRig channel that has your audio, this would make a mono signal that will be recorded as such in any of Drambo's recorders.
I will try that, thanks very much for now 👍
Drambo does video modular (upcoming release)
😲
No way!!
That looks incredible.
Awesome can't wait:)
I can see Drambo and Loopy Pro on my horizon, very soon!
It looks like a very impressive add on and I’m certainly intrigued but I must admit, these sort of visualisers rather bemuse me. The results look the same for everyone who uses them really - and get pretty tired fast - so what’s the point really (unless you have the skills to code your own unique shaders, or whatever the system happens to use)?
Hopefully this visualiser will prove me wrong though and it’ll somehow allow genuine creativity and the freedom to craft unique visuals without coding know how.
It's fully modular, allowing you to create visuals from scratch using basic components. (The previous video shows a random patch composed of smaller modules). Coding is optional and not required.
The most interesting feature is per-pixel modulation. Knobs can be modulated by images - visual outputs of other moduless including videos and images, modulation is calculated independently for each pixel depending on it's color components.
You can mix standard Drambo CV signals with new Visual types allowing you to work on audio and video the same time. (e.g. use Envelope follower to modulate visual knobs or use the same LFO to modulate audio filter and visual stuff)
@0tolerance4silence, cool, thanks for the info. Hopefully it will provide a pathway in to creating my own shaders in some brilliantly accessible way, that would be amazing.
I can only devote so much time to it though before I decide I’m better off just manually animating something completely unique instead - that’s my experience with Imaginando VS anyway.
I’m certainly excited to see what new spin it puts on things though and the modular aspect presumably introduces some interesting options in terms of what’s actually triggering the visuals?
Oooh, if there's code for visual synthesis, does it mean that there could be code for audio as well? I've wanted that from time to time (along with a Flexi Looper I once dreamed up
)
Looks very exciting! Such a good match between the existing modulation system and modular shader bits. Is it possible to blend the visual output with a background layer containing image or video?
Wonderful!
The alpha blend factor can probably be modulated as well, then. So looking forward to this
I think you’ll be quite pleased.
And you’re right btw; other “visualizers” on the market, like you say, unless you know how to code, leave you with using a selection of defined presets, that you can spot someone using a mile way.
Your last sentence crystallizes everything that @giku_beepstreet has been working so hard on for the last couple of years to achieve, and is exactly what makes you the target customer!
It’s been an honor to have been part of this beta group from the beginning, and to watch it evolve. As someone myself that doesn’t do ANY coding at all, (trust me, I’ve been the non-coding guinea pig tester through it all) you’re going to be amazed by what is possible.
Alpha blend, and anything else you could possibly think of, can be modulated. Yes!
Well, now I’m really excited! Thanks @Edward_Alexander.
Is this video modular option available now ?
