This is a really interesting app with great potential. Nice work!
Would it be possible to change the midi player instrument to an electric piano? Generic soundfont pianos can easily sound a bit harsh to my ears…and I doubt that I am alone in that.
When playing a more complex midi file, all the overtones of the notes, when played from an iPhone speaker, can easily become unpleasant and not accurately indicative of what it would sound like when used in a quality music app.
Even still, your app has great midi player functionality, it is quick and useful.
Oh damn I only tried it standalone. This feature isn’t in the AU?
Wow I haven’t even found the midi player yet lol where’s that at? I can’t find it for some reason 😅
@HotStrange Just tap a midi file inside the app’s file browser and it will start playing. Doesn’t work for drums, but it will play melodic and harmonic files instantly.
Understood. Thanks!
Hi, could you send me your drum file(s) ?
my email: [email protected]
@anhnd101 It seems I was wrong. Your app was able to play a whole folder of midi drum files.
My music files directory is a mess—there are so many folders taken from different free sources. I believe it’s the problem of a file not properly encoded. Your app can handle drum midi if it is codified as such.
But I will email you this folder of files. I’m not even sure what midi mapping it uses.
Is the audio reader in the browser available in the AUV3 version of the app?
Not yet but @anhnd101 is working on it...👍
Great! Thanks
@anhnd101
can you download files that are loaded in the stream inspector? seems it should be possible but I can’t find out how..
Currently, you can't. I think that feature is not allowed for Browser so I didn't add it.
Version 1.1.3 is out
Audio Editor:
-Single tap on timeline will move playhead to that location.
-Double tap on timeline will change its style
-Tap on Stop button will move playhead to current playing location. You can then tap play to continue playing from that location.
Browser:
-Read aloud now can run inside AUv3 host.
Media Player:
-Add shuffle button to shuffle playing queue.
-Midi player can use custom soundfonts (to use custom soundfont, please navigate to Setting/Default soundfont)

Excellent work @anhnd101 - thanks!
Can anyone check if this works with apple ‘personal voice’? if not, does anyone know what would have to be done to enable that, assuming it is even possible?
Very interesting and useful app.
With the latest update, it crashes when switching to dark mode, though
Edit. Also crashes when switching to AU player
@anhnd101 Have the bugs Jade Starr showed been fixed yet?

Um, can you make sure your version is 1.1.4 ?
Yeah I did fix that on version 1.1.4
Sweet may have to grab this on payday then.
Yep, still crashes on 1.1.4. iPad 11” M1
Edit. It would be possible for you to add the possibility of choosing DuckDuckGo as a browser? I try to use G the least possible 😊
Edit 2. Deleted app and downloaded again and now it works. Thank you @anhnd101
Ok couldn’t resist just picked the AU support and read aloud add on. Just need a Scottish speaker now for Robbie Burns poem!
Combines well with Bleass Voices !
.
One way of getting free sounds, just seeing what’s possible
in the browser! Amped Studio inside AUM.
Definitely hit and miss what works with online DAWs. ![]
Not all are mobile or have sound blockers.

So far digging this app and look forward to further development. Would love some UI upgrades to help it be more engaging. Feels like it should look less like you just opened another file in Files and more like a proper app.
Something like Documents, GoodReader, etc. Even Samplecrate simply uses color to differentiate itself from Files so you can see UI feature prompts like the Pads, audition, etc.
Otherwise, I love where it’s heading. Would like to have one app to rule them all instead of using this, sample crate and AudioShare however for now there’s too much parity and reasons I need them individually.
We’ll see how things develop.
@Gavinski I tried, It took a while to set up personal voice. It’s not listed in the languages which might be built into Media Assistant maybe not sure if it’s piggybacking off iOS for this feature. Maybe @anhnd101 can shed some light on if personal voice can be used ?
Yes! Excited for this update. Was waiting to do the full purchase until the read aloud became part of the AU. Such a neat feature and a useful app. Thanks @anhnd101 is there a website or roadmap of features anywhere?
@Jumpercollins , on your first image, please tap on the link "browse through your favorite genre".
Here is the quick fix for studio.audiotool.com and bandlab.com:
