Thanks!!
Check the other videos on instgram to have some clue
Looking pretty sweet so far.. liked the way you copied bars by drag + drop.. the interface really does look clean.. nice work..
This looks fantastic! Would love to be a part of the beta. Seems like a pretty unique UI implementation.
Yes, as usual I agree . This is big , the videos on insta are incredible
For sure. Just when you think nothing new can happen in the groovebox area here comes EG with this super cool UI/workflow. I think it’s got a ton of potential.
Definitely looking forward to Nodes, Going to be a good year for groove boxes.
This looks very exciting, packed with a randomization too.( Looks like sequencer built in?) uh oh, dRambo might have some competition!!! Lol (j/k ofc dRambo will always have special plane in my heart and workflow)
No competition for me, I want them all lol I’m a sucker for Grooveboxes in software and hardware.
Super nice workflow @ElliottGarage
Agreed. The node approach is really cool and unique. I love all of EGs apps and a couple are among my favorites ever (EG Pulse, Waveshaper, and SY01). Always been interested in his standalone drum machine but never got them since I have a lot of options for 808/909/etc. But having those sounds with a true to life UI is tempting.
Call for Beta testers!
EG Nodes beta testers needed…if you have experience with Apple TestFlight, Midi, sequencers and Audio Unit, and if you’d like to test and give feedback and suggestions about the app please send me your apple Id at [email protected]
Email sent! Thanks 🙏
Email sent, I’d love to be in on this.
EG Nodes dev diary —>Record AU3 midi output into piano roll
EG Nodes dev diary —>Nodes menu - duplicate, save into favorite, export and import
EG Nodes dev diary —>MIDI configuration & internal routing to send notes from one node to other ones
Looking good!
Nice to see a touch interface so I don’t need to reach for the pen to tweak things
Awesome @ElliottGarage been interested in this app’s progression. Cheers.
I had permission from the dev @ElliottGarage to post a few tasters of EG Nodes🔥.
be aware this is a beta pre- release look and some features may change.
Yes. Since jumper made that video and posted with permission is all I can say is “LOOK OUT” this thing is a beast
This looks interesting, something Sand could have been. I like the compact overview.
Great demo! I think everyone will enjoy this one. I’ve been having a blast with it.
'Split View' support for EG Nodes and AUM would be totally bonkers...
who else wants 'Split view'?
What do you mean with "Sand could have been"? What do you see there what Sand does not do?
No bashing, i'm really interested in your opinion.
Because the interface of Sand looks a lot cleaner. And Sand is incredible for building and testing patterns/loops.
Of course, I am also curious what EG Nodes brings to the table.
I'll not compare Sand and EG Nodes...EG Nodes is more focused on different MIDI generators and sequencing nodes, each with its peculiarities. Can also be used to control other apps via MIDI out, or create internal MIDI routing.
I think they can be complementary
On the beta also
I prefer this to sand ( not knocking it )
And been having fun on nodes, developer listens and think this is a great app !!
The midi features are incredible (I think I can say it). I can’t comment or compare but EG nodes is going to be a big hit. The dev is honestly the most attentive, hardworking and ambitious I have the pleasure of working with as he is always there to listen, improve and implement new features.
People know how much I love dRambo, in fact dRambo was all iOS was to me for a long time and what brought me here (as FAL from drambo)….all I’ll say is this - this is the FIRST AND ONLY app that makes me feel like I have an alternative , and not to compare it to dRambo, but I think people who think about dRambo and sand will find EG nodes is fantastic.
I am so impressed with the hardware midi stuff that I can’t wait to see what the final release product is going to be. It’s very exciting to see such an amazing app in development , and I consider myself almost unqualified to beta test it it’s that good
@ElliottGarage Curious if this is, or will be MPE capable?
