  • Looks nice but what DAW on the iPad can we use for ATMOS and Immersive audio which are the main selling points for Pro-R 2? (It does seem to have quite nice new algorithms and IR import but will it do proper Shimmer Reverbs?).

  • Looking forward to this! Love fabfilter so much

  • What, Christmas already?! 🤩

  • Oh oui ! oh oui ! oh oui !

  • The auto gate and auto ducking will be nice too. Hopefully will save me from having to run a separate channel with another gate plug-in on some mixes?

There are three algorithms: modern, vintage, and plate. But IR import with Decay Rate EQ is huge for me.

  • Wonder if they are updating all their apps to Mark 2.

  • A few of them are on version 3 already. I kind of wish they’d make a new instrument instead of remaking their VA again and again.

  • Hoping for Pro-G 2 next 🙏🙏🙏

So technically, there is no “IR Import” but “IR Convert” instead. I need to see this as a demonstration, not just words. It could be great, though.

  • Besides UI/UX and handling of stereo signals, aren't all convolution reverbs essentially the same anyway?

  • Interesting. Glad I didn’t get V1 during the last sale now. I’m pretty content with TB Reverb for general use but I love FF and have always wanted Pro-R. Definitely gonna be checking out all the demos when they release.

Does FF do intro pricing? I can’t remember.

  • I thought I remember them doing a few bucks off? Maybe it will be added into a bundle straightaway and it will be hella cheap 😏

And what is the alleged advantage of doing this? If it’s using a simplified version of the IR file to save space, it would be a less detailed version of the original signal.

    Tweakability and, possibly, lower CPU

Convolution -> Algorithmic conversion, so you will probably get a unique reverberation time footprint to use with all controls already existing in Pro-R. Till tomorrow. I can't wait to see what it’s all about! ;)

I'd like to see a side by side comparison of the results (and I'm sure there are people ready to do this ;) ).

  • Does anyone know if this is coming out for iPad the same day as desktop?

I guess it will be like with Twin3 a few weeks later. 🤔
