The Audiobus Forum is now the Loopy Pro Forum!

In case you didn't see the announcement thread, I have some big news: Audiobus – the app – is going to a new home. Francesco and Andrea are developers and musicians who are keen to pursue Audiobus’ further potential, keep it updated and enhance the experience for users old and new – and unlike me, they have the resources to do so! They’re full of ideas and energy, and I am confident that Audiobus will be in good hands.

The Audiobus Forum, however, is staying right here with me. After some consultation with the community here about what to do, I've decided to rename it to the Loopy Pro Forum, at forum.loopypro.com.

It has a new name and new colours, but otherwise, it's the same place, and nothing else will change.

Cheers,
Michael

  • Sounds like just what I've been after in a sequencer.

  • Interesting!

  • Looks great!

  • This looks very cool 🤘

  • Looks great, will probably buy but practically no sense in joining the beta. I am apped out right now!

  • This looks great! No time for another beta unfortunately but will keep an eye on this.

  • Bumping this one up … this sequencer has definitely caught my attention and is super fun to play with. I’ve been beta testing it for a few days and can already see this becoming a go to midi processor for me.

    Well done @A_Mortal_Mage

  • Howdy space cowboys,

i've tried to add everyone who showed interest in Beta. If I missed you, my apologies. Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I'll be sure to get you added. Thanks to everyone who has helped with the beta so far the app has progressed leaps and bounds, as has the material surrounding it.

Check out how its evolved at the new YouTube channel, featuring demos and daily freeplays, or on instagram, where I've added some of the design documentation.

Agreed. It reminds me a lot of the Elektron workflow (which may be the point lol) but it’s so fun and easy which is what gets me. So much it can do but they made the UI so quick and easy.

  • In case you missed it, @A_Mortal_Mage has been putting out demo and walk through videos of his forthcoming sequencer app, Ouroboros ..

I’ve been on the beta for this one for a few weeks now and, I must say, it’s a brilliant app and a lot of fun to play ..

  • Please release this and send over to my house. Thanks.

  • a fantastic tool !

  • Hey y'all! It's been a while but I assure you I've been hard at work drumming up as much goodies as I can. I think the app has come leaps and bounds in functionality, stability, workflow, UI, and is really starting to come together as a unique musical instrument. I'll be creating more materials to showcase as I get ready for launch, which will be soon! I'd give a date but this is my first time doing this and I'm sure there'll be unknown unknown delays. Until then here's a link to some more recent videos and a list of the updated features! There's still a lot more to go and I'm looking forward to growing out this device with input from the community, so don't be afraid to over share.

P.S. I changed the name from Ouroboros to Prism :)

I didn't mean to miss you. I'm sorry. Can you shoot me another email if you still want to be added? I'll grandfather you in if you want to be apart of future beta for new features.

  • So psyched man! Even though I’ve been testing this for some time , I’m still utterly impressed with all it can do .. such a fun sequencer to play and create with.

Bravo, my dude, bravo .. looking forward to the official release . .

  • edited May 5

@A_Mortal_Mage beta tested the app when you first released, got busy with life, came back to it and was WTF everything has changed (for the better). Now I'm playing catchup trying to decipher things. :)

I think you changed the icon when you renamed it to Prism. Its icon now looks like the ring youre wearing in the videos.

  • I need to get back to this one too, had a good play in the very early iterations but I think it’s moved on bigly since

Thanks for the love man! I'm stoked for the release. It's gonna be wild to see how people use this and what they make

  • @Krupa & @audiblevideo

Haha good luck with catch up! I'd recommend using the help button and just pressing everything you can (you can long press the setting button to instantly turn on Help mode).

Otherwise, it's good to have you back. Let me know your thoughts on the changes

  • I'm so excited for this...really hoping it drops soon.

  • Looking forward for it! I'll be using the Topo controller and an Ec4 .
