  • Preordered. Could probably achieve similar results with other apps but this UI looks superb.

  • I don't preorder apps very often, but I'm glad to support this one.

  • Collection completed

  • Looks great, insta-preorder

  • Anyone know if this will also be available as a (cross-platform or separate) download for macOS? Beta testers? Anyone?

  • This could be what I’ve been looking for to replace the no-longer-on-the-App-Store, Beatformer, which will one day not work anymore, even though it’s still going strong at the moment. Am I correct in thinking this is something like Beatformer or Knock? Not exactly the same, but in the same vein?

It’s along the same lines as knock, but there’s more effects, and you can reorder them, and it’s definitely not just for drums - works great on basslines and synths in general. It’s the best looking FAC app too imo.

  • Pre-ordered. It looks beautiful, and I love FAC apps.

  • That’s a no-brainer for a preorder as I know I will use this.

There’s only a small handful of devs that I will most likely buy anything from and FAC is one of them. This looks excellent. I have Knock and Beef but imo they have all their own use cases and earn their place on my iPad. This looks to be the same.

Almost looks like a blend of Knock and Fosfat too with the noise/“fizz”. Is that what it’s doing @gregsmith

  • Pre-ordered.

I have Knock and love it, but honestly even if this sounded EXACTLY the same it's worth the pre-order price for the responsive ui.

Knock resizes so poorly and despite it being a quickish fix it annoys me to no end... 😂

Can't wait! Looks great and may replace Beef for me. 😎

I'd keep both for their respective 'character' :sunglasses:
Could not resist this one way back when I was asked to do beta on it...

Didn't say I'd get rid of Beef. Just saying I plan to try this on drum busses more often than Beef. 😉

I can understand the mistake. Replace does mean take the place of. :)

I meant replace as my main "secret sauce". I should've been a bit more specific.

That's what the internet is for. Misinterpreting opinions. All good, just mediating. :)

Fosfat is very interesting but it only has a single type of noise, which is a big mistake imo. I even wrote to Klevgrand suggesting they added more noise options. From what I see Punchlab has 6 different options for Fizz (4x Noises, Sine, Tri) so that’s great. It does have less control than Fosfat over the floor level, so I don’t know if you’ll be able to control where the fizz is applied on a full drum track, (eg if you want to only add snap to the kick). We’ll see.

😂 Yep the internet is amazing for that.

I was just wondering the same, Hotstrange! That noise fizz knob looked kinda tweakable in terms of band or tuning?
This new FAC app looks like a nice rack of typical effects for bass and/or beats mainly. As is Knock without the reordering then.
    Pre ordering FAC? 100% YES!
    The waveform viewer…
Will it act like an oscilloscope to check a sidechain for ex?

Thanks. Yeah I think Fosfat is pretty good but simply adding more types of noise would take it to the next level. Who knows, maybe one day lol.

The Fizz option here looks very cool. This app overall seems great. And FAC apps in general are known for their sound quality.

Yep had to preorder immediately myself :)

  • My music time has been pretty limited lately, so the first thing I'll do with this is run the crazy loops from Relic Waves through this and see if I can finally sound like NIN.

I don’t have fosfat, but fizz is tuneable, and you can choose peak noise, wide noise, a sine oscillator and a triangle oscillator. So it’s a bit like the tuneable sub but for highs. It also has a depth and Q control.

  • And more sound examples on this? Like maybe with some synths?

Curious to know if you can really push this to extreme effects, or if it's more for subtle sound adjustments.

    Excellent. Thanks 👍🏻

  • I preordered, what else could I do? It’s the new FAC magic, after all. 🤩

Design is top-notch, simplicity and readability are fantastic, right in my alley. The only thing I noticed was that muted modules are just colored grey, other than that, there is no visual distinction between active ones. Can anyone from beta confirm this?

  • „Precomplished“ - streamlined and beautiful colored GUI. And I guess of course - great sounding

That’s right, but it’s very obvious when using the plugin because of all the bright colours.

It’s top notch ui design. I love how it responds on iPhone portrait…

Well, I believe you, you are a fellow visual artist. 🤗

In a few days, I will try this little “9 demon bag”. 😈 I can’t wait.

  • Pre ordered ! i'm usually agains pre-order but everything from FAC has been top notch so i'm not too worried. Though i really hope the advertised features won't be under in-app purches because there's this button in the documentation that leads nowhere, what's that about ??

it should include all feature with original purchase price. I think the in app purchases are just convenient way to tip the developer. which this developer highly deserves. his products are always top notch.

    I bet you're right ! Thanks

  • The early bird catches the worm. Pre-ordered.

  • Pre ordered, my second app from fac.
I also often think about bandit, with in app reverbs delays. From demos bandit sounds interesting.
