knock was always a gimmick to me. poor programming / algorithm. This is what knock tried to be, with excellent, fast results.
Good to see this is a hit for FAC.
Yeah I bought Knock with high expectations and it kinda fell flat. It’s not horrible but way overblown for what it does. Punchlab is most definitely what I wanted Knock to be. It’s great
Thank you all for your great support and feedbacks !
FAC Punchlab 1.1 update is now available on the App Store 👊🏼✨
Maintenance update, includes double tap to reset to the default value!
Enjoy! And please also review the AUv3 on the App Store ❤️
What's your favourite Punchlab fxs ?
Just posted 5 Stars and review in the App Store 👍
This app sounds really good. I'm going to get a lot of creative enjoyment from Punchlab.
Punchlab is now part of my (not so secret) secret drum sauce
Really appreciated!
Thank you!!
That's really a useful effect. Could it be possible to know the latency ? It could be great to use it on stage and I did not find a way to see this with AUM.
it reports 6,25ms (checked in AUM and NS2)
thanks a lot! it is indeed a very low latency
Have spent the day playing with this on Acoustic guitar, strings and bass parts in addition to drums. It really is just a magic app imo, capable of adding texture and subtly moulding the tone of instruments in such useful and useable ways.
I picked up a Yamaha black box from 1987 - an RX17 for £20, replaced the dead internal battery and used it in conjunction with FAC’s excellent Punchlab to make a synthwave track. In this vid I’ll show you how I used Punchlab to level up those drum sounds and some of my synths.
Nice! Gotta check this video out
Another excellent video Jamie!
The whole video is super interesting, lot of tips and I really enjoyed the part about the modulation:

Sounds super cool!
Time flies! Nearly 2.5 months since the launch, and your support has been amazing!
Big news: The next update will bring macOS (M1/Intel) and Vision Pro on top of iOS!
Desktop versions available on the App Store will be gradually migrated to universal. You can still purchase them to demonstrate your appreciation and enthusiasm helping me to keep this project moving forward!
FAC Punchlab in Ableton, and in the Vision Pro (Thank you MsLeD!)
I’m glad that you like it Fred. 🙂 As I continued to mix the track that featured in the video I made a very short additional video because I thought a lot of people might appreciate this sound, created with Punchlab.
FAC Punchlab is now available on macOS and Vision Pro!
👉🏼 Existing owners of the iOS version must go through the standard buying process on the Mac App Store to get the macOS version for Free!
Nice @FredAntonCorvest
Thank you @FredAntonCorvest
Much appreciated.
Thank you kindly @FredAntonCorvest
Whoa. Didn't expect that!
Love the app but as a suggestion or request, I would really a love a “auto level matching” feature to be able to hear the changes in sound without changes in volume.
It’s great news! 🤩 Thank you, Fred. I’ll wait a few days for the AppStore to update properly. Just to be on the safe side with gremlins, haha.
Very generous @FredAntonCorvest, thank you!
I am happy to read your feedbacks!
Yesterday, we made it to the top 3!
Your support is highly appreciated, please rate and review the app
What?? Mac / Intel for free? NICE!!
Good thing there's a tip jar or I'd be feeling kinda guilty right now.
