I appreciate the enthusiasm for the tuning files. I'm going to try to work with Marcus Hobbs on getting something going

    OMG!

  • Hey @AnalogMatthew, what a fantastic sound!

Any chance you'd think about making this synth MPE compatible?

  • @Tentype - Speaking of MPE, in crazy exciting new, I'm interviewing Roger Linn tomorrow.
You know I'd love to add some things like that to apps, the current architecture makes it hard. But certainly, I think it's something the community needs in the future to push music expressiveness forward

  • @analog_matt Thats awesome! He’s an absolute legend

  • Seriously, think about this...

An iOS Drum app certified by the grand daddy of sample based drum machines!
I don't think He'd mind donating the original rom samples from the boxes for a good cause ;)

Could be a good way to venture into AUv3 multi-out capability for AudioKit apps as well?

Ahh amazing. What a cool guy with an incredible legacy! I can't do anything without my Linnstrument these days.

I like to try new synths out and imagine I'll make use of non MPE synths, but the reality is its a long-term deal breaker for me. So i like to at least ask if it can be supported.

  • Anyone else had this app stop appearing in Logic recently?

If you've had the app crash and chose to disable it you might need to 'reset' Logic in the system settings to make it pop up again as the plug-in is added to a list of what's considered un-reliable plug-ins and thus hidden...

I just loaded a Nerd in the Logic session I'm working on. All seems fine so far.
What do you mean "stop appearing"? For me it loaded fine. When I shut down the project and reopened, it was still there.
I was able to search for Nerd within Logic too.

iPad air 5, latest software versions.

  • Ahhhh, @Samu got it, thanks. I have had it crash a lot so I guess Logic just decided it was best to hide it.

    Hello @AnalogMatthew 👋
What email address do you use for support? I didn't find it on your website. I have a couple of requests. 🤓

  • Thanks @Samu for sharing that helpful tip with folks!

@artem you can contact [email protected]

  • @AnalogMatthew thanks, I sent 2 requests.

Just trying to do my best sharing the knowledge I've gained over the years :sunglasses:

On the other hand Apple should really pick up the game with LogicPro for iPad as it starts to feel like an "Intern Project using ChatGPT & Apple(un)Intelligence 'to write the code'"
(I mean seriously, bugs that were fixed in 1.1 re-appeared in 2.1).

  • Thanks @Artem

I went in and found your emails, and will personally look into your requests 👍

Hi @AnalogMatthew, seeing new Audiokit apps such as DM-10 be Mac compatible, it makes me wonder if you have plans to make Nerd Synth Mac compatible?

    Instant buy if so :-)

    Hi @Artem
I have fixed your requests and will push them as part of a major NERD synth improvement update when I return from vacation. (I'm going to Mexico until the 22nd). Thank you for your patience

By the way, Nerd Synth is only $4.99 right now. Might want to pick it up either way. It's some of the best work Matt has done to date.

Agreed, it’s already great, so any updates will be icing on the cake.

I have it. But I haven’t used my iOS devices for making music for ages; I’m way more productive on the Mac. I love iOS and will be back; at the moment I have too much stuff on the go on the Mac to need the iPad for inspiration.
