    Has anyone gotten MIDI learn to work for Neon in AUM? After mapping the parameters in AUM, Neon does not respond to the mapped controls.

    Neon is lovely, but it CHEWS through Cpu usage and the menus get all laggy when I get to the modulation section. Anyone know if optimization is in the works?

    It's an AUM issue. I went to the devs website and he's reached out via email to AUM on suggestions. It does work within LoopyPro (I tested this) and Drambo.

    Hey all, just wanted to let you know that I just released Neon v1.1.0 on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/neon/id6471043963

    This version contains some significant performance optimizations that should lighten the load a bit. I noticed in particular that queued switching between states with a lot of modifiers could cause audible glitches because the changeover was taking too much time on the render thread. Not anymore!

    Also, this version contains a Reduced Animation toggle that should alleviate some performance bottlenecks some were experiencing.

    Finally, this version also contains a toggle for the menus to use a tap interaction rather than a hold/drag interaction so you can tap a target and the widget will stay on screen until you tap outside it.

    There are more performance optimizations in the queue that I'll get to when I have some more time, but in the meantime, I hope this helps!

    One thing I noticed on my device is that I am unable to load presets, I think you can just tap them to load, right?

    damn that slipped through. i just uploaded a new build to the app store with a fix, waiting for review now.

    I've just released v1.2.1 on the App Store

    This version includes a brand new Arpeggiator Modifier!

    I think the possibilities are pretty cool for this.

    Here's how it works:

    • When an Arpeggiator is active, it changes the function of the stage sliders: the range of the slider is distributed across any incoming held notes in low-to-high order.
    • If there are no held notes while an Arpeggiator is active, the sequencer will not output any notes.
    • Using the Transpose Modifier with the Arpeggiator will transpose within the held notes and wrap around the ends

    I think that about covers it.

    AUv3 in Loopy Pro all the way here. Drambo 2nd. I don't care for using AUM on the phone at all 😬.

    I enjoy using AUM on my phone. It's one channel per screen, so maybe it's the TikTok dopamine hit from swiping all the time, if I didn't have AUM or prism, I dont't think I'd even use my iPhone to make music. maybe I'd use gadget, but it eats my battery up like a black hole.
