    v1.2.2 is live on the app store. i decided to change the functionality of the recently added Arpeggiator Modifier. In the revised version, when there is an active Arpeggiator, the stage sliders (and their enabled/disabled state) are overridden completely by incoming midi notes. If you hold down 3 notes, the first 3 stages map to those notes and display the note/octave in the slider, etc.

    I thinks this makes it more playable and easier to understand. I really think this feature is a huge unlock for Neon... playing live into the Arpeggiator is tons of fun. I'd love to hear about your experience with it.

    Yes, I'm liking this new arp feature.
    - But one thing I just noticed is that when I tried to use the midi controls in AUM to set the root and scale with CCs, Neon doesn't seem to respond to that. Anyone else try that?

    thanks for pointing that out. automation was always fine in Loopy Pro and Drambo so this wasn't really on my radar. As it turns out, AUM handles AUParameter automation through a different path. I added a fix and it's now in v1.2.3, waiting for review for the app store.

    update: v1.2.3 is live

    I like the overall design and the menus have improved with the new versions but the custom fonts keep me from getting back to the app. Just saying

    iPhone version is so good. It's actually more stable on my iPhone than it is on my iPad.

    The UI is perfect sized for iPhone and it's just an awesome addition. I love having neon on my phone.

    posted a new build to the iphone testlight… unless anything else comes up, i think its the release candidate. just need to add some screenshots/videos for the app store page… so shouldn’t be long if i stay focused ;)
