Oh heck yah, still the best timeline based audio chopper (sorta) on the platform that I have found for me. Still open to suggestions of course as I gave up testing new options while ago.
You still partake in The Maker?
Every once in a while, mostly for old time's sake OR if I don't want to crack open my laptop. Chopping is just easier on my laptop in most cases. Anyway, whenever I fire up BM3 I think to myself "still annoying in the same spots but overall still a fun experience."
Yah ever since I have been commute free I am back to Samplitude which is the king of audio chopping for me. But every now and then out in the world I find myself with time to kill and an ipad. About the only thing that annoys me with BM3 is I didn't have this version eight years ago.
Wish:
Alternate funcion:
To set a step to sound only in a given cycle. Eg. like every 4th cycle or 1st and 4th...etc, like Korg Drumlogue.
It's much more creativity inspiring than make 64 steps, double the length, delete the same steps...etc
It would need a step selection function to set alternations.
Around the top of each steps a little symbol to select when pencil icon switched would be a nice workaround.
Or as additional function for the ALT button.
Are there any plans to add more tracks? I'd like to use P3 for sequencing acoustic drums in OneShot, but ideally that takes more than 8 tracks.
Interested as well.
In the meantime, I trigger a different note with the layer system to have an alternate drum playing in the drumkit (in Oneshot or Tekno)
