  • Does anyone know if you can download the dolphin core or play gc wii games on retroarch on an m1 iPad?

I’m not really up on what to do and when I found a video it was talking about getting the windows version from the build bot libreto

There are Apple versions but it says arm64 and iOS 9 (weird)

I just want to try wind waker on my m1 iPad

Unfortunately that’s a no. Those emulators require JIT compilers and Apple doesn’t allow that. I’ve read that’s it’s possible using sideloading via altserver/altstore but it’s not a trivial thing to setup.

Another question sorry, I’ve been trying to find a solution but thought I’d ask here:

Does anyone know any or the best way to get an old Amiga style joystick working via Bluetooth or on iOS. I don’t think a usb one would work.

I’ve been searching around and it’s absolutely mental to me that there is no such product.

I don’t want to use gamepads for games that are better with joysticks like most old Amiga games. I can’t find a single Bluetooth joystick outside of arcade or maybe flight sticks which are no good. Arcade sticks have the buttons on the wrong side if you’re right handed.

I thought there might be an arcade stick you can turn upside down I don’t know it’s crazy to me I’m having to look so hard,

The only thing that’s possible is the very expensive 8bitdo c64 style keyboard which comes with a little stick and massive buttons but it seems overkill, not a perfect fit, and who knows if it’ll work

Like, you’d think there might be some Bluetooth transmitter you can plug a usb joystick into maybe (and even then there are almost no usb options just the one I know of)
