I was going to pass on this one but I watched a couple of the YouTube videos and the capability to route chordal notes across unique MIDI tracks scratches an itch for me. I like to send multi-part MIDI into Staffpad so I can assign the parts to various orchestral sections or instrumental groups.

Here’s my first experiment assigning the notes of an 8 bar loop across many instruments using cut and paste from the original 8 bars:

The capability to generate unique chords by scale tone is also a cool idea. I wish the scale notes extended to 12 notes for the chromatic option and up to 2 octaves to generate some great jazz style
    two-handed voicings. Like:

    That sounds excellent McD!

If Kai just adds one more octave I can make some very cool voicings. Now a jazz musician with augment their chords with +11’s and b9’s, etc which are not in the scale but just 2 octaves of the scale would be great. It’s also a lot fun to make 5 note chord clusters like root-4-5-9-12or power chords like root-5-octave-12-double octave (we can get close now because the double octave is offered).

  • Oh great. I’ll give this a go on the desktop at the weekend

That is something I'm looking into adding.

I hope this is a successful app for you. The user interface is brilliant. I’m loving the channel per note
for creating instant choirs, brass, woodwind and string sections. I’m sure many also appreciate multi-port out.

I’m going to buy your FD-1 Filter Delay just to show my appreciation for this gem.

Aw thanks dude, I really do appreciate it!

New beta adds 9ths, 11ths & 13ths. I'd like to add a way to to borrow chords etc not sure how that would look like tho.

And it’s not even my birthday! I will purchase MM1 - MuteMaster to show my appreciation.
MuteMaster looks like a good fit for the FuncBud rigs I was obsessively assembling last week.

MuteMaster is an underappreciated creative tool.

The Update with 9ths, 11ths & 13ths is available for downloads. Time for some obsessive testing to see what I can conjure.

  • Really digging this. Great work Kai.

One question, is it just me or does the transport have to be running in Cubasis for the effect to be active? Any settings I might be missing to make it active when the transport is stopped?

Hey kids, @ka010 any thoughts on this? It’s making it hard to use this awesome plugin. Almost certainly something stupid I’m doing I have no doubt!

Tried the plugin in Nanostudio and no need for the transport to be running for Harmonicer to be active. Anyone here using Cubasis and Harmonicer? Sadly it's making it pretty unusable in Cubasis.

  • I really like this app, but I'm struggling with one thing. I can't work out the magic combination of things I need to do so that notes /chords played on the Harmonicer keyboard get recorded to the track in Logic. Anyone managed?
