    Lethean Guitar Playthrough by Furtherial

Experience the crushing riffs and melodic leads of "Lethean" by Turkish metal band Furtherial from their album Liberation Path! This performance was captured in the stunning rehearsal room of @crossstudyolari — huge thanks to Ersan Bodur for hosting us in this inspiring space.
    Guitars:
    • Başer Çelebi
    • Bora İnce
This Apple-powered session utilized an iPad Pro M2, Logic Pro for iPad, and a UA VOLT 476P audio interface. No post-processing was applied to the guitars — no EQ, no tweaks. Just raw tone captured in single takes by both guitarists.

    Gear Highlight:
    • Amp model: EVN-513 Channel 2, boosted with our built-in overdrive.
    • Solo section: Enhanced with Analog-Style Stereo Delay from GigFast Lite.

    Special Thanks:
    • Başer Çelebi and Bora İnce for their incredible performance and for being part of the GigFast Lite Journey!
    • Cross Studios and Ersan Bodur @ersanbodur_ for providing such a fantastic space!

That made our day thank you. We will keep improving our platform as a whole 🙏

  • yeah agree, this is the one!
I really like it too :)

  • Same here.

  • @ArteraDSP The new bass amp is excellent! Yesterday, I added a bass track to something I’m working on and my old Fender P-Bass sounded just right in the mix, big and fat.

  • Any news on NAM XT?

  • Alright you guys, after reading all the testimony from our trusted forum members, I just pulled the trigger on the lifetime license!

Maybe this will motivate me to getting back into recording guitar again.

  • Just updated to V2.2.

Thanks for the lovely JC120 model. It's clean as a whistle... totally cleaned my ears out ;-) Just what I was hoping would be added.

Gigfast Lite is simply the best guitar app out there IMO. Gets me where I want to be ( enjoying myself! ) without messing around with pointless technical complexity. Plug in.Play. It sounds great!

Hey @Edward_Alexander, good move! After you’ve fooled around with the presets for while, switch to Bank B and begin building your own presets from scratch. IMO, that’s how you’ll find the best combinations of amp/speaker/gain/etc. for your style of playing. I was surprised at how much I liked the cleaner settings of the “big” amps, or pairing amps with completely unrelated cabs. And if you have some real pedals, try those in front.

P.S. Input gain is hugely important so experiment with the level before it hits the app.

Btw, the app now has input gain adjustment. So, you no longer have to do it pre-plugin.

  • I just have to ask for those using this app is there any noticeable difference in tone quality compared to NAM TX?

I'm really struggling to understand why GigFast is 4 times the price (in AU$) of NAM TX.

GigFast Lite includes excellent parametric models and effects. NAM TX is a static NAM profile player.

Parametric models provide full adjustability that static profiles don't.

Any idea how these are captured then. I can't fathom how this is possible without many captures across the full gain, etc, range. Is this witchcraft?

Here are a couple of posts explaining their technique. It sounds like the control settings are added to each training data set, so the neural net learns to associate them with their effects.

  • IMO, Amalgam Captures produces exceptionally high quality NAM profiles, a number of which are available as free “samples” on Tonehunt: https://tonehunt.org/models?username=amalgamaudio

    Here’s Amalgam’s commercial site: https://www.amalgamcaptures.com/nam

Thanks @uncledave This was what I needed. Would be interested to know the size difference between a static capture and parametric capture file size.

    @espiegel123 said:
Gigfast Lite’s built in models are parametric “captures” not just captures of an amp at one setting. Essentially, a parametric capture is done by performing many captures at different settings and the knobs essentially morph between the captures. So each built-in model is like having many captures and as you change the gain it changes the capture being used.

Interesting question, but hard to answer. The GigFast Lite models are built-in and proprietary. But it's difficult to say. This is a Neural Net, after all, it is what it is. The net to recognize cat pictures doesn't grow when you add more cats, it just gets smarter. It may be similar in this case.

  • Oh... does this mean that the app operates differently, when using a Gigfast model, vs loading a NAM model?

  • @garden said:
Oh... does this mean that the app operates differently, when using a Gigfast model, vs loading a NAM model?

Yes, it has to, since a NAM model is a single snapshot. The GigFast controls will need to be implemented before (or after) the model, similar to those in Tonex. But I believe you can load a different NAM model in each channel A, B, C, so that offers some flexibility. You can treat NAM models as non-adjustable presets, and select ones you like.

Perfect explanations for every question. Thanks a lot🙏.

  • Hello beautiful people. We have a special Easter sale going on. GIGFAST LITE is 25% and NAM XT is 50% off. LIFE TIME FULL ACCESS. Both available on Appstore. The discounts end at April 21st. So hurry up. HAPPY EASTER 🤘🤘🤘

  • Nice to see a sale but unfortunately still 50 bucks in AU. From what I've heard though it will be worth it when I get it some time.

It's the best no question. Doesn't have all the fluff of other amp sims (FX/Pedals/chain ordering etc ) but that's a great 'feature'. Plug in and the amps sound so great and feel responsive ( IMO ) ... the built in FX are enough for me, and you can always chain stuff together in whatever way you want ( DAW, AB, AUM ). Don't though. It's perfect all by itself!

100% my experience as well. I removed all the other amp SIMs from my iPad.
