Okay cool good to know.
Nothing is set in stone right now in regards
to what time the live stream happens
so we could all agree on what's best for all at this point.
I will do.
Thank you for the encouragement.
Noted.
Agreed, hence why I'm certainly going to chill tomorrow.
Though the chat is off the cuff the rest of it is vey intense.
There's a lot going on and answering questions
whilst composing and creating dRambo things is quite something I must say.
I was thinking to do three days on/one day off/two days on/one day off
which would give me time to do the other things I do and allows for rest
because even the audience needs to rest as well.
Rest is very important for the long haul.
I was thinking to do that in regards to different times, glad to see it's a good idea.
I started on them a couple of days ago especially the dRambo FB Group.
I don't want to post to much just in case it's seen as spam however it's for dRambo so...lololol
Good advice.
I'll start that after I've had some sleep.
Thank you.
I always promote visibility on other platforms.
It's less about feeding the algorithm, and more about reaching new audiences.
Not everyone has equal access to the internet. There's region blocks, or platforms that can't exist all over the world.
Also, almost no one watches twitch 24 hours non-stop. They have school, work, family life, and other responsibilities.
Focus on making the content that you want to make, and make it easier to access by others. That's all I can say. I've had more successes on a lot of other platforms than YouTube. But I still post similar content on YouTube.
Fair point. I only pitched in a suggestion. And I'm saying it's better to post, than not to post.
But that's me. I stopped worrying about stats. It adds too much anxiety for little gain.
I gotta go. Working on a few more posts.
Back on tonight at 12 a.m.
Currently going through a remix,
I'm going to be listening, tweaking and arranging.
Pass through for a chat.
and for those who are into Audio Production
Here's a documentary from Harrison Audio
with a friend of mine Stuart Bruce (producer/engineer/musician) recording a single.
I've mentioned him before.
In this documentary Stuart is recording a single for Taylor McCall.

And context.
Stuart Bruce has already seen my rig and I've told him I'll bring it along the next time I see him.
He's looking forward to it.
Now, would any of you be interested in seeing what he thinks of my iPad based rig?
Edit.
I also forgot to mention that he taught me a lot when we worked together at Real World Studios.
That's another thing though.
@yellow_eyez @offbrands
I'm not live streaming tonight because something came up
well,...
I have to catch up on some design work which I had promised to do.
It's for an anti knife and anti gun cause.
Anyways I shall be back on tomorrow night.
Lolololol....
The right amount of petty...
Lolololol...
I'm going to remember that one.
On tonight in an hour.
@yellow_eyez @offbrands
Yeah dudes.
Thanks a lot.
I hope that made sense.
@yellow_eyez apologies there for my use of Philistine.
That's my Catholic upbringing there.
Sometimes the vocabulary springs back into action at random moments.
and yes 9 Tracks for drums, sometimes more,
depending upon the drum groove, arrangement and sonic textures needed.
Keep in mind a basic drum kit is kdrum, snr, tom tom and floor tom
and then hi-hats, crash, crash ride and ride and with a percussionist
that will be another selection of percussion sounds on top.
Now that I've designed this template for live streaming which saves phaffing around
we can explore putting together different drum grooves at different tempos this week.
and Alan Holdsworth and John Scofield are good company.
I'll warm up properly tomorrow.
🙏🏾
Thanks brother.
Lololololol....
So am I.
lololol
You guys have got jokes.
@offbrands @yellow_eyez
I can hold on the live streaming until Monday for sure.
I'll be tweaking the template over the weekend because
I need to get the routing sorted for Loopy Pro
so that I can play and record smoothly.
Nothing to complex just routing.
Thanks for assisting me in tracking down the slapback.
We'll go time travelling again on Monday.
The bane of all creatives.
lololololol
What was workng perfectly okay ten minutes before
turned into a circus of running around complex systems
trying to figure out what was going wrong
with the added ingredient of an onlooking audience
and with a soundtrack straight from the the 1970's.
I had a whale of a time.
That's what I enjoyed the most.
Seeing your jokes and humour in the chat just made me laugh.
I think I said it at one point because I was going for a guitar line and
I saw the chat and burst laughing and the guitar line went off somewhere else.
No worries.
Lolololol...
Quick update.
Splat to Clat is now dRambofied.
I can now scroll though the favourites list without having to stop the track.
I'm now smoothing it because of the loading speed of Splat to Clat however,... job done.
I'll share the screenshot as soon as.
It's not essential however it is a really good drum sound app in my collection.
Our "conversations" about OneShot and other drum sound sources
made me go through my drum sound collection properly and
the one thing that was holding me back in regards to Splat to Clat
was having to restart it after I had changed a loop.
The loops are awesome and we can put
together our own kits using the inbuilt sounds.
Now that I can go through the loops with ease
it's going to make Splat to Clat so much more enjoyable to play with.
@offbrands @yellow_eyez
if you're into hip-hop, the selection of loops on offer in Splat to Clat is wicked.
Perfect for starting a session and for the most part the loops
are actually good enough to be used on a track for commercial release.
So @offbrands I take that back, it is actually an essential tool in my collection.
@yellow_eyez for playing along on guitar it's perfect and add some distortion to your guitar tone and you're laughing.
I'll get to the dRambofied bit later because I'm still testing it.
