Lololololol....
😂
Flagged.
We're trying to be all serious here and the both of you are just cracking me up with laughter.
Keep 'em coming...
Lolololol
Here's a couple of ideas.
How about a regular playlist of selected iOS creatives?
Much like a Radio chart but with the emphasis on improving
or suggesting different ideas from the listeners or the person hosting the tracks
and how about a live stream via Sonobus (listening only)
or even YouTube (both visuals and audio) showing
what's going in a creatives space at that precise time?
So less chat more music.
Viewers can support the creatives and host via Patreon, Ko-Fi or Paypal direct.
The creative/s could have a microphone up so that they
can explain what they are doing in real time or
there could be a Q&A afterwards so that the creative
doesn't lose the creative flow or viewers can just waltz in and enjoy listening.
Not tutorials per se.
Creative ideas! Really dig this.
I would support anyone from this community wanting to do this.
Maybe a monthly live steam? Just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.
Promote it out to start in next month or the new year
Same date each month. Hang and share? No emphasis on chat like you said, but easier for people to join or make plans.
Either way if you need/want any help wit this, I got you. My drambo wiki idea has taken it's own life so I have free time! lol
I was thinking about doing this very soon as in this month.
Cool.
I'll definitely take you up on this.
Thank you.
Awesome.
Same wavelength.

Couldn’t pick one so the lot will do 😅🤘🏽🙏🏽

Quick update.
I'm about here right now.
It's a basic remix of John Summit feat Echoes "Human".
Screen recording.
dRambo+Cubasis 3 with Loopy Pro
waiting on standby for guitar parts if neccessary.
dRambo is running 10 channels of samples and loops
Aurelius mono synth on arps and
Behringer Crave on bass duties routed in via my Zoom U-44.
dRambo, MixBox, Eventide's Blackhole and Other Desert Cities are providing the effects.
Cubasis 3 is sending cc messages to dRambo for Pattern changes.
A version of the Arp patch can be found here via Patchstorage.com

Well done!
I haven’t heard the original but I’ll check it out. I keep wanting to remix some songs I like but never get around to it. Good sign to change that I imagine.
Cheers!
Thank you.
🙏🏾
Remixing songs that you've heard and enjoyed is a lot of fun.
Agreed, it's good sign to change that.
No problem.
Here's another one.
Back soon.
and another one.
And here's the eleventh one in the series since I started this thread.
@Gravitas Here is one I've started in Gadget
Sounding good.
It's definitely one of them ones where you could count it in many different ways.
I really like the feel of 3's.
3/4, 6/8's etc are always fun to play around with.
Looking forward to hearing the finished piece.
@thesoundtestroom
I was uploading my most recent remix whilst listening to your track.
In this piece I've finally corrected for the latency between the two idevices.
The AIR 3 is dRambo standalone+Behringer Crave(bass)+Cubasis 3 for the vocal play back.
(the timing on the vocals still need tweaking)
and the iPhone 7 is sequencing, effects processing and mixing my mini EuroRack rig
which are x2 Teenage Engineering self oscillating filters+noise for the kdrum, perc and gated pad.
The mix is a bit rough and ready as this is just a draft.
This is a killer track. Every bit of it and those vocals! Wow!
@Ben
Thank you.
The vocals are the intro from Etta Jame's Something's got a Hold on Me.
It's an awesome intro.
@Gravitas Here is another from a project in Cubasis 3 that is pretty much finished, just a few tweaks here and there and mastering to do.
This is very dark soundtrack-type stuff, so there is less lead melodic content.
I wish more YouTubers would post tracks they are working on, that wold be cool beans.
I hear you on the dark soundtrack stuff.
It's a visual piece for sure.
Though it it doesn't have much melodic content,
the melodies add a subtle touch to the atmosphere.
Agreed, it's what all of these apps are for.
@thesoundtestroom
By the way this may interest you.
I worked with this sound engineer many moons ago.
I learnt a lot from him.
Here he is being interviewed by the "The Mirror" in regards to "Band Aid".
