Come on, tell me how you did it ;)

Did I miss something? Is that a photoshopped mockup? Or a hidden/future feature? A hack?

I've even played around in the accessibility settings to get a bright appearance. No success.

It’s simply the settings >> accessibility >> invert colors
Thing is, on iphone I had to cheat and make a video to take that screenshot. Drambo flicks for a second in invert color mode then reverts to the dark theme. This used to work though, haven’t tried on ipad yet.
Oh and funny enough, if you take a screenshot in invert mode, then turn off invert, your screen shot also gets inverted back. But that’s apple shenanigans. Invert is kind of erratic I haven’t found the solution yet.
I wish @giku would add that setting to drambo settings instead of having to go through system settings.

I know, right? One of my favorite recent modules for sure. It can really make a sample “sing”

I forgot it was new, quite nice for ‘lo-fi time-stretch’ too, use a ramp LFO to modulate the offset :sunglasses:

Cool idea. Now just add an amen break and you have instant jungle 😄

Yeah, that would require one to add two modulation source to the offset one that sets the 'speed & direction' (LFO) and one that takes the incoming note and scales it to offset-start for slicing...

It's not about if it can be done but how to do it :sunglasses:

I think the reason he doesn’t is to protect us from ourselves. Since connections are color coded some folks may run into dark corners and then call app support 🙄

  • @supadom you mean “light corners”?

But the only reason I mention is because it might provide a quick way for a light mode without much redesign. No idea how feasible it is, though.

The 93% and 130% views on 11" iPad really make a huge difference for me along with the newfound stability and lower load overall. Having three racks available in master view for 93%, and having larger knobs and buttons at 130% in track view, is just a blessing.

My only request atm is being able to rename AU knobs, or some form of text quality of life for knobs.
And let that scaling keep going all the way from 130% to 228%!! You can keep pulling past 130 but the elements don't know what to do :D

Fantastic update and a great teaser for what I imagine is to come!!

Not exactly the same, but you can map the au-parameters to a knobs-module and rename the knobs.

Love the update by the way, cv-quantizer and layers-switch are my faves so far.

Everytime a new Drambo release comes out I went at first into the preferences and look for a bright mode.

    You mean like this?

I went to Drambo settings, but I didn't see this. Is this real ?
    Thx

  • @Antos3345 if you read everything past that picture, it discusses everything about it.

Depends what mood you’re in 😊

I can’t believe that a new update of a sonic monster has dropped and we’re discussing colours! Blasphemy!

I used to have press Giku about colours until I realised that he’s always right 😂

I made my peace with it that’s why I’m so patronising on the subject 🙄

All valid points, but drambo is a synesthesic experience. Can’t expect hoo hoo, without hue hue. I’ll show myself out.
But Giku is always right, that I agree, but he’s also receptive to new ideas, within reason

Yes, it’s a preset called ‘battery killer’.

    Just kidding

  • is there a quick way to duplicate a track in drambo?

is there a quick way to duplicate a track in drambo?

    Yup.
Long press Track header Copy and then Paste which will create a duplicate Track.

The other way is to long press on the Track selector
that you need to duplicate and tap on an empty track.
A menu will pop up which give you the choice of
    "Rack/Rack+Sequences/Cancel"

You have to long press one track slector button and then whilst holding it
press another track selector button that's when the menu pops up.

It's not my preferred wording. It's the common phrase for exact functionality in any software. Try to duplicate a track in any other DAW. I'm trying to clarify why people are confused, that's all. 🤗

Personally speaking I'm trained up on Cubase, Logic Pro, Reaper and Pro-Tools.
They don't adhere to the same descriptions.
The same function in two DAW's may have different wordings yet do the same thing.
As a professional you need to know what is acheivable and then you need to find it as quickly as possible.

Well, just for curiosity, I checked command names for track duplication in DAWs you kindly mentioned. 😅

    • Cubase: "Duplicate Track"
    • Logic Pro: "Duplicate"
    • Reaper: "Duplicate Selected Tracks"
    • Pro Tools: "Duplicate"
