You are really wondering why there is not another button in that mixer page 🤣 it’s super full!
Thanks @espiegel123
okay okay, thats enough!! Thanks 😆🙏
That was true of all his previous apps; GR-16, Pure Acid, Poison.. All ended being converted to AUV3. It might take a year or more, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the same happens to GR 2.
I’ll probably purchase this app, I’m just struggling to decide to pick up another iOS host without really understanding what makes it different than the others.
I hope we get jim to drop some more videos pre release.
It was an instabuy for me because of the lineage. Jim Pavlov has 3 of the most rock solid, and in my opinion, feature-complete music apps out there. Pure Acid, Poison, GR-16.
At this point, I would buy a paid subscription mirror app if he puts one out. ;-)
do you know if the sampler has ping pong looping per slice in slice mode?
Preordered, stoked. My GR2 wish is a file browser with midi file/audio preview similar to helium/loopy. Then I don’t have to load instances of helium to use its browser as an intermediary.
I will have to hold off until I hear about export options. Just how complete and separate various elements like fx bus per track etc may be etc etc
You somehow quoted the wrong person. That was my post fwiw

As far as I know the loop mode is set for all slices and the slices can be individually pitched.
That’s a good point. I can’t confirm that. I hope it does.
What do people think about using this app on smaller devices? The description on the Appstore recommends an iPad pro 2nd gen for best experience. And looking at that mixer screenshot in this thread I am getting the impression that I would need pencil and magnifying glass to operate this on my iPad 9th gen. Will there be any screen customisation options, or should I just forget it?
For me slightly shortsighted live player fiddly UIs are a no go.
And an iPad pro is budget wise a no go.
Does it support „multi-core“ ?
I preordered it for my mini 7. 🤷
it's (should be) a very efficient groovebox
at least the images look usable when I open them on my mini 6, I preordered with faith lol
great idea to just use the images for a test, thanks!
Sorry to ask again, but is the preorder discounted?

Thanks!
Can anyone share about the midi mapping options/functionality of GR2?
Wish there was an early access for preorders 😭😭
Ok.. -10 days to go…

Then we’ll really finally be able to produce a song!
[Slowly pushes back 300 other apps]
Wouldn't it be interesting if this was the holy grail of apps and we all started producing completed works of art.
You could be setting yourself up for a disappointment. It says "expected" Feb 1. It's software. It's probably not polished up, bug free, and just waiting for him to push the button. He's probably working feverishly to get it ready, but one never knows for sure with software. Just sayin'.
Meanwhile, I'm using Cubasis as my current "holy grail" app for starting and finishing projects. Even did and doing client work in it. Fun process.
Hoping GR-II will bring something different to the table. Judging by what I've seen thus far, it'll definitely be fun for producing Ambient in if not a bit of a fun challenge.
True… but looking at the feedback from ‘Beta Testers’, and other posts…,I think it may even come before…
