    Excellent video Doug @thesoundtestroom ! I'm so glad I have GR-II preordered. This looks super promising, and it might replace Nanostudio 2 on my iPad Mini (or at least coincide with it). Has a nice MIDI editor, with handles for adjusting notes and such (including probability!). Has a nice song mode. Has some limitations on FX, but honestly that'll be fine for my uses with Ambient.

    If I may make a request, Doug, could you show off automation in one of your upcoming GR-II videos? That's one of the features not covered in your overview I'm most interested in seeing.

    @jwmmakerofmusic Hi Jim, yes I will be covering automation, actually you can just hit record and dial in any automation you like.

    Did not see midi import.. but loving the Key/Scale lock..

    One more question @thesoundtestroom. If you change the scale for the project would it change your existing patterns to the new scale or is it just changing the scale of the pads like GR-16?

    It looks to me that you can load a version of Pure Acid but it will be minus the functionality of its fantastic sequencer - is this correct I wonder?
