Idk if you tried searching Techno in Patchstorage but it brought up some interesting patches - I really enjoy those techno cuts you’ve dropped on Bandcamp.

if you have a drum machine you favor but doesn’t have a robust sequencer, or in OneShots case, no sequencer, playing there’s nothing from stopping you using this and setting tracks to MIDI out and point it to whatever in AUM, even ApeMatrix. Really deep possibilities with this one.

This patch is just obligatory to share, be warned, it’s far too deep to really grasp but it’s worth it to just open it, press play. Probably the most intricate patch I’ve seen on there.

And can’t be without mention that @rs2000 link , @timfromtheborder link , and of course @tyslothrop1 link are some of the most creative patch makers I’ve seen and I look forward to their drops whenever I get a notification for them on email from Patchstorage.

At these prices… none of them. I just checked and they jacked up all of the prices. last Nov when I bought them the regular price was $3.99 and I got them on sale for $1.49 each.

Been noticing this happening a lot lately. Helium, for example. Just went on sale this weekend, 7.99. But the day before, the regular price was raised from 12.99 to 14.99. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Seems reasonable to me. I like a bargain as much as, maybe more than most. But everything gets more expensive, often fluctuating through a single year, makes sense that an app should. Maybe, I don't know, makes sense to me anyway.

I get that stuff gets more expensive, but this is doubling the price in one year… and these are just 64-preset packs, not apps. At full price it would cost $72 to buy them all… that’s just crazy. It is an awesome synth, though.

The description uses the phrase “Waterfall MIDI” so I jumped to see what the MIDI support is like and it’s non-existent in the app. That “waterfall” is the arpeggiation of chords with a speed control. I loaded up MidiFire which usually detects any apps that have some MIDI features and it’s not there.

If anyone else jumps let me know if you discover any import/export or external API support. It seems like a closed training app especially suited for learning to recognize chord types by ear.

There’s a feature to input melodies but I haven’t figured that out yet…

I’m going for the refund… I just don’t expect I would actually do “ear training”.

I don’t think Apple has devised a way to “zap” an app off your devices which I think would only be fair to the developer
but Apple have never been particularly fair to developers. They have a nice little Monopoly or three (four with the VR headset?).
