Circa shows a price for lifetime but upon selecting lifetime it changes to $0

SnakeBud @3.99 is a must have for any sequencer enthusiasts. One of the more musical sequencers when randomizing. Super lightweight. I've gotten a lot of great sequences out of it. If you have GlitchStep, it's like glitch step without the glitching goodness.
Although combining RollBud with SnakeBud is pretty gnarly.
Just as a fun note:
While GeoShred Pro is $16 straight out
Play is $free currently, and the IAP Upgrade to Pro is $10
This is how I got on board (two separate offer periods, but free play and $10 upgrade to pro) and haven't found any issues
So afaik it's the same as buying Pro itself, just at a steeper discount with an extra hoop to jump thru, unless someone can better correct my ignorance 😅
Pro includes some incredible soaring electric guitars and others that'll really let you get a feel for their (GeoShred) control and sound, without shelling out more for other instruments (though, the whole collection is crazy good if you're looking for such a thing)
(Also, @Poppadocrock, the two links for Play and Pro are both the Play link duplicates
And in the posting talking about "Clika - Authentic Film Camera," looks like autocorrect changed it to Circa in the text portion)
Warning: Be careful with GeoShred instrument IAPs. Unlike AudioModeling's SWAM instruments, there are no App Store bundles available. For example, when you buy one Naada instrument, the collection that includes this instrument will not be discounted. Additionally, if you purchase a collection and later decide to buy a multiple-collection pack, there is no compensation for the collections you have already bought, you will need to pay again. 😵💫
Yea I was gonna mention something similar. I actually won a swam IAP and the code would not work through Play after I upgraded, so I had to get a Play IAP refund and bought the regular versions where the code worked. I know that’s a specific situation but just wanted to mention it.
Thanks for the link correction @PapaBPoppin
Geoshred link corrected. Thanks @PapaBPoppin
One more note and comment. You need to disable those presets you havent bought if you use preset dials e.g. in Loopy Pro.
Yeah, if someone is not careful enough, it’s completely possible to pay four times for the same instrument. 🤦♂️😅
I know this is an iOS centric thread, but GeoShred Studio for Mac and IAPs are on sale as well. I have the essentials unlock (full use of base version). I’m tempted to pick one of the instruments up (probably Sax, bansuri, duduk or erhu) but $33 for an instrument on Mac is will steep when I already have the entire collection on iOS. It would be cool to have some kind of discount crossover.
@Luxthor I think the difference is that GeoShred instruments are IAPs and SWAM are standalone apps. I’d say NAADA instruments would be the ones to go for - they’re great and GeoShred exclusive. I have all the unlocks on iOS and enjoy the SWAM instruments but tend to load up standalone SWAM more often.
That is the reason I’m warning people who are interested in purchasing. BTW, I love GeoShred! 👍
I've been waiting for the GeoShred sales since April. Their bundle pricing is very manipulative of course. The instruments I want ($60) with a few I might like via bundles ($100) but if I buy the super bundle of everything ($200). If I buy the superbundle later, even on sale, it's $240 because there's a discount for buying it all together. So somehow I've convinced myself that I have to buy everything now for $200. When I just wanted six instruments.
I'd be interested to hear from people who went the same route - did you end up using and enjoying all the extra instruments, or is it better to just pay $10 each for the ones you actually want?
In marketing this is called Price anchoring with bundle discount – The high individual prices act as an anchor, making the bundle price seem like a bargain, even if the bundle is still expensive. It's a psychological tactic based on a consumers perceived value to nudge someone who originally wanted just a few items into buying the whole set.
I bought one geoswam on sale to try then ended buying more until I'd spent as much as a bundle but with less instruments :-( I also bought a couple of NAADA ones on sale so ruined that bundle but have not bought enough of them to equal the bundle price. I definitely don't use them all enough to really warrant the purchase price even on sale but I could say that about loads of apps. I've just got one of the original seaboards so I might well get more use out of them once I hook that up. I think they sound good but in retrospect 4-6 well chosen ones would easily suffice my needs with other multi sound apps taking up the slack. eg Thumbjam has 40 instruments included for less than a tenner and to my ears the cello sounds better than the geoshred one, And if you have the space Xinematix is almost a no brainer for what you get. In the end it is usually a bargain if you use it a lot and poor value if you don't. :-/
Thanks. I always appreciate posts like this.
I thought I had heard good things about it but hadn't gotten around to searching.
@AkiVilla , is it worth posting your issues with GeoShred, loopy, keyboards etc in a new post so as to not derail the sales thread ?
GS has thousands of parameter’s which is why they are not exposed in the normal way to midi manipulate. There are ways to do it though but best discussed in a separate thread .
@GeoTony I can withdraw my comment, was too hasty on judging on auv3 paraneters in LP. Need to investigate more on midi.. and then comeback on other place.. Sorry to all!
Not a problem @AkiVilla , if you need any help just ask away 😊
