I'm sure some of you will find all sorts of reasons to piss on this particular parade though
They seem to be legit. They've had similar deals in the past and there have been plenty of success stories. V8 for $60 is a crazy good deal for what you get. I really like the digital synths in the bundle; The Casio CZ, Buchla, EMU, Synclavier and Fairlight all pretty great. Some of the older analogue emulations are bettered by others, but there aren't too many of the digital synths around.
And as I mentioned before, all of those are the exact same versions you get with the $599 VX bundle. It's a steal.
A new Sound Dust Kontakt instrument - https://www.sound-dust.com/badviolintoolkit
The free version is great by itself but definitely worth getting the paid version for £10 / $10 / €10
Check out his other stuff too - https://www.sound-dust.com/
This is really great. And now that aI made a Steinberg account for it, I'll have a look at this free synth, too:

From the videos it looks like a really slick Paul X stretch-kind of thing.
Thank you 😍

If anyone is, like myself, looking for a cheaper Plugin Boutique purchase in order to get the Backbone freebie, one of the best options I’ve found, if nothing else grabs your fancy, would be to buy an edition of Beat magazine.
Anyone got any other suggestions?
Cableguys Half-Time is like $9, I got that one just to get Backbone 😃
A-1 Audio Prime Delay is free right now (Alex Hilton). I just downloaded it but haven't tried it. I've used the Trigger Gate a lot in the past, though. Also free. Good developer:

Also, too late, but I wanted to say Pro Audio Star are legit. I've bought from them before, they're good.
Thanks @sharifkerbage, I’ll check it out. Cheers.

Softube Model 72 minimoog 39.99 lowest price ever. I literally bought this 2 days ago for 69.99 and had been waiting FOR YEARS for a low sale price. Finally said just grab it lol but paying it forward anyways go someone else can grab it. Honestly Moog Model D is great and enough but Softube models the original, not the revision as far as I know…
Thanks for heads up! Looks great, sounds great.
I'm glad I reviewed this Reddit thread, though. I already own Monark, Minimonsta 2, and the Moog Model D (using a VST wrapper for the AU).

the SSL G3 MultiBusComp can be had for around $30 with code PBNL92 at Plugin Boutique
don't know for how long though
I got it in January for a little bit more (but not much) and I really like it, tone shaping is quite flexible
.. and you can still get Backbone for free with any purchase

Same. Wicked freebie!
You’re welcome 😊

Deal of the year?
T-Tacks 6 MAX for $29.99
https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TRackS6MAX--ik-multimedia-t-racks-6-max-software-suite
EDIT: Deal is over. It's back up to $99.99. If you were quick you'd have got it for $29.99. Probably a glitch, although you never can tell at the time; There are lots of crazy deals these days.
It’s a good deal, but them offering T-Racks 6 even at $99 tells me they completely misjudged their customers. That's a "fire sale" price. I won’t be buying it anything else from IK Multimedia because I feel like they completely ripped me off with the amount of money I spent on T-Racks 5 in comparison.
Still available here : don’t hesitate if you want it! It’s a hell of a deal.
https://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/ik-multimedia-t-racks-6-max/m16222000000000
Edit. Gone. And the musicians friend website is toasted too.
Same here. I must have got a hell of a deal to get v5 MAX but the "upgrade" to 6 was not inspiring. An outright v6 MAX $29 sale sure is though.
IK upgrades have never been and I’m prepared to bet a rhubarb and custard chew, never will be anything other than uninspiring.
It’s not worth worrying over.
And the best deals are usually like this one; you get total studio max if you want everything — which can be as low as $149 (I think I might have it for less too) and never think about upgrading in the future until another deal like this one inevitably pops up. Totals studio max will often be slightly behind in terms of what’s included (the current one excludes TR6 for example) but includes MAX versions of amplitube, tonex, also includes MODO bass and drum and mixbox so is well worth it even if you discount the sampled stuff. Which you should because, apart from Sampletron, it’s awful.
I don't remember what their first product was but my first buy from them was Amplitube 1.0. And in all the years since, I've played spot the deal rather than pay the upgrade price. And MAX MAX has never been of interest as, like you said, there's plenty of sack filler.
T-Racks 6 MAX for $30 was a particularly good deal.
How does this compare with the Model D?
