Thanks! Once the standalone version is ready at least for the iPad, I will immediately start the TestFlight process so that we can get as much feedback as we can.
Here is my plan on this: I added a "play" button on the preset browser tab. If it is pressed, the preset list is in "preview" mode:
In preview mode (play button is pressed), single tap plays the preview of a preset. double tab loads the preset.
In normal mode (play button is not pressed), single tab loads the preset.

A great sounding synth, but please make it more stable. The SM1/2 crashes often for me. M2 Ipad Pro.
That's our goal
Speaking of stability, SynthMaster 3 loads presets inside the UI thread, blocking all UI activity until the load completes. This might look like bad UX, but for stability it is a must. Since SynthMaster 3 is a modular synth now, it can add/remove lots of modules during preset load, so it is best to do the loading inside the UI thread.
I might display a dialog box indicating that a load is taking place, to make the UX a tad better.
Here's how the preset browser looks in SynthMaster 3 / Player (iPad 11 inch layout). You will be able to preview the presets in expansion banks (IAPs) directly inside the browser. The presets list has 2 columns (3 on iPad 12.9 inch layout) showing more presets in one screen. The below screenshot is taken from the iOS Simulator:
This is going to be so interesting to use and play around with.
Two questions:
1. will the user presets be easier to save than in both SM1 & 2, because at the moment it is so easy to save a SM2 preset to a designated folder and find it’s not there, after a long search in the ALL list, checking the info shows there in no folder,
2. will Midi mapping remain permanently?

Looking good! Can't wait for this - SM2 is by far my most-used synth. I have the 'everything' bundle for SM2, so will no doubt end up getting every IAP available for SM3 as well! I'll keep my eye out for that test flight version...

Hey, got a question; being that you have the ‘everything’ bundle (as do I) can you tell me how many presets you have total? (Looking at the preset browser, under the ‘All’ filter.)
Reason I’m asking is because mine keeps changing. Right now it’s showing 3399, but I know I’ve looked before, and it was over 4000. Just wondering where do these presets go?

I actually have 4403 presets! Although that appears to include around a dozen I've made myself. I'm not sure why you're seeing so much fewer...
Hmm, I guess I’m going to try re-restoring my IAPs again. I know there were over 4000 at one point.
It’s really not a big worry of mine, as I rarely use this, but it seems like whenever I do start this up, I spend most of my time trying to figure out where the preset packs that I purchased are.

Will those presets bundle we buy also work in the full version of SM3 ?
If are referring to SynthMaster 3 iOS, the answer is YES:
As long as you complete registration in all of our iOS apps (SynthMaster 1/2/3/3 Player). When you register, we store your licenses on our server so that you can download those expansions inside SynthMaster 3 iOS or SynthMaster 3 Player iOS. This way, you won't have to purchase the same IAP again even if it's for a different app.
With SynthMaster 3 / SynthMaster 3 Player, the number goes up to 8000

I have another question for you, when saving a preset to the user folder, does it slot in alphabetically between other presets saved in that folder? or does it slot at the end of the preset list and remain in that position for accurate Program Change purposes? This has always been a problem for me when using SM1 & SM2 especially when purchasing new preset packs that are Factory Presets, they completely mess the preset order resulting in incorrect sounds being selected when using Program Change.

The presets are sorted by name after a new preset is added. I will make sure the midi banks remain intact after preset metadata is rebuilt.

No, it should be done through the iOS app so that the app knows which in app purchases were made and that information is transferred to our server.
@kv331audio_bulent: I haven’t bought any iaps yet although I do plan to get the “everything bundle “ for Synthmaster 3 . That might be why I don’t see the “download bonus presets “ button . Thanks for the info though, I’ll figure it out somehow
