@kv331audio_bulent — To add: I do own 5 expansion banks + the Desktop Presets Upgrade (ios) for SM2. 4715 (factory + bank) presets are available in my SM3 desktop plugin. Didn't come across any issues during upgrades from SM1 to 2 on iOS and SM1 to 3 on desktop before (never counted presets in the process).
Back to the iOS Alpha: Going through the SM3 Factory Presets IAP solved it for me — I entered my SM3 serial here, which allowed me to download the related patches. Additionally, I purchased the "Unlock Desktop Features and Content" and found my sound banks available thereafter. Total amount of available patches on iOS = 4659 now (at some point 4701). Can't say what's been causing the difference.

It took a bit of redownloading and restarting, but all presets and banks appear now, except for a few presets missing.
Count including expansion banks and excluding user presets:
SM1 desktop presets = 1238 factory
SM1 iOS presets = 1232 factory
SM2 desktop presets = 2193 (2045 factory)
SM2 iOS presets = 2142 (1995 factory)
SM3 desktop presets = 1284
SM3 iOS presets + 1284
Total factory presets SM1-3 (desktop) = 4468
Total factory presets SM1-3 (iOS) = 4410
I'll reinstall when time allows to double-check.

In the SETTINGS tab, under GENERAL, the lower-right corner of the GIU is cut off, and there is a white pixel line on the left of the boot-pic (see the attached screenshots).

So far, every time I close SM3 it tells me it has crashed, lots of crash logs created, but whilst it is open everything is fine,
Awesome! Downloaded and looking forward to testing it out, especially once Auv3 is ready. First impressions are that it looks fantastic.
First question - I was trying to see if I could import my user presets via cloud sync, which I haven't had any luck. Is it possible with this version? My steps are:
1) Register my serial number (I own an Everything bundle license)
2) Purchase the IAP of "Unlock Desktop features" (I tried to sync my presets before I saw this as well if that is relevant information)
3) Click "Sync my presets with Cloud"
The results: All of my expansions seem to be showing up fine, however when I click "User presets" I seem to get an endless spinning loading wheel which does not go away, even when navigating to other tabs.
Also possible relevant information: I saw the actual name of the presets I am trying to sync appearing to be downloaded (in the progress bar underneath the preset name menu).

If possible I would like it if the volume can stay at the level chosen by the user....when auditioning presets one has to constantly adjust the volume level.

Will do, one thing to note, SM3 only issues a crash notification after closing on my iPad Air 4, it does not happen on my 13” iPad M2
The fonts are really tiny on ipad mini. It was also the case with SM1 and SM2, but the default brown skin compensated a bit with a better contrast (to my eyes), even if it was far for comfortable. I understand adapting to the mini screen size can be a lot of work for a small number of users, and I totally expect it to feel cramped for the synth options, but for the player and the browser I'm sure something could be done to enlarge the fonts so that it can be used without getting a migraine.
Also I've a trouble understanding the install size, is it because it is in alpha and include lots of debug libraries ? It weights 2,6Gb with only 200 presets, while my installation of SM2 bears 4400 presets for 1,7Gb.
Synthmaster 3 is going to be the best synth app for iPad, the quality of the presets are superb, we will be spoiled for choice now with all these new synth apps being released, but I think SM3 will be the most popular choice - for me at least👌
Preset switching is really smooth in sm3, there is a real improvement there. I'll pray for the auv3 version to be this slick, it is a pleasure to browse presets when they load so quickly. The new presets I've sampled are awesome also.
CPU usage seems to be up though, I compared some presets between sm2 and sm3, they all sounded the same fortunately, but sm3 was using 20 to 30% more CPU pretty consistently. And the factory sm3 presets seem to be more CPU hungry on average, I suppose they use more oscillators or options. I don't know it there is anything that can be done to reduce resource usage at this point, but it would be great if SM3 could be as CPU efficient as SM1 and SM2 are.
Also, could there be an option to reset all filters in the browser, and to display more clearly the filters that are not set to "--all--" (highlighted or something) ?
@kv331audio_bulent, is there any chance that the full (non Player) version of SM3 could allow the user to delete the factory presets to massively reduce it’s installed size?
The factory presets are usually excellent but for users who aren’t interested in using sounds designed by others and only want to design their own, almost 3gb is a lot of storage to be forced to give up and may even make the synth a non starter for some.
Hopefully this is something you’d consider? Cheers.
At the moment I use several instances of both SM1 & 2 in a Cubasis 3 project and the CPU is pretty low, but what would this mean when using several instances of SM3? Perhaps in this situation only one SM3 + several SM2’s 🤔 something to think about .

It would be nice to always show the scroll bar in the presets lists, not only when already scrolling.
Also, when wanting to mark presets as favorite while also having switched on preview mode, this does not seem to work?

I selected a boat load of favourites yesterday and they are still all there today (iPad Air 4 & Air 6)
Maybe I did it wrong, but wouldn't know why. It is not working for me. I'm on PadOS 26.4 already...
You can’t really do it wrong can you, just tap the star next to any preset. Have you checked the Analytics in settings to see if there are any logs created for the SM3? If there are, just email them to [email protected] with a brief description.

I am currently testing the AUv3 plugin. Started off with the default UI layouts:
Here's how 1194x347 looks on my iPad 11 inch device. I replaced the Shop tab with Macros to make space for the 8 macros & 4 xy pads that can be assigned by the sound designers.
Next I will continue with enlarged UI layouts:
BTW, I checked out some competitor apps. Most don't really care about so many different layout sizes. They just provide the default 1024x335 and that's it. But we care
I hope that pays off because we are literally going down in 2026 
I haven't fully tested favourites yet, will do before next Alpha 3 release.

Did you receive my crash logs for the Preset #9 - AR Warzone YY lockup ? This behaviour does not happen on my13” iPad Air M2, but the preset scroll bar does not appear until I have manually scrolled from #500 to #1 on this iPad and my Air 4.

I am sorry to read your business is in a downward trend, I am sure many will agree with me when I say Synthmaster has been my main go-to apps on iOS ever since they were were released on the App Store - literally, it will be a sorry state if you were no longer there.
I do hope that SM3 gives your business a needed boost.

I agree the SM synths are my go to. I am looking forward to be buying some on the new packs on SM3 player and buying SM3 when it comes out.
@kv331audio_bulent I know you have some SM3 presets pack in the following style but I would appreciate more Synthwave / Darksynth /Cyberpunk / Midtempo / Industrial style presets packs.

I’ve used Synyhmaster 1 and 2, and enjoy them both. If I was to request a feature for 3, it would be MIDI 2 property exchange. It would be so much easier for those with MIDI 2 capable keyboards over manually mapping everything, and we could read on the keyboard itself what each preset/paramater is.

Which keyboard would you recommend to test this feature? I found Korg Keystage that supports MIDI 2.0
