Ah sorry how did I miss this?? No need to apologize I should have asked for clarification even if I was thinking you did clarify it (which I obviously misunderstood - always fun to do via typing instead of talking, due to these easy misunderstandings). Sorry for that, and you're not OVERopinionated, probably really not even opinionated at all - you have an opinion. Which is cool, of course.
I know that there have been discussions about messaging to users, and how any changes would fit into the guidelines and specs that Apple sets down for the existing mechanisms. To be honest, we'd probably prefer (I say probably because I really haven't put it to a vote and use a totally non-scientific method biased toward MY ideas and thoughts on the subject
) creating our own system to do this which would offer you all more control but also benefit us in that you would both receive AND request the type of information that you actually want to see. That's a little more complex than the current ways available to do things so we tried to do our best with at least some criteria (like the "hey you own that, it would be stupid to show it to you).
