Tape Delay, Stereo Delay, Long Delay, Stereo Width, Non-Linear Reverb, Early Reflections

    >

    FX Pack 2: Vintage FX
Pan & Tremolo, Rotary Speaker, Bit Reduction, TalkBox, Wah Pedal, Enhancer

    >

Please find more details about the Cubasis FX packs right here:

DFX/FluxFX or more money for limited effects packs, Oh whatever shall I do now?

  • Snagged both. Thanks.

  • No problem , they are both very powerful, sound great and DFX even cost less.(wink)

  • Is it possible to SAVE presets this time?

  • Wouldn't it be nice if steinberg concentrated on fixing some of the issues instead of trying to sell us more. IAA is a mess in cubasis, AB still no record/play button showing up in most apps, and I haven't tried yet but I'm guessing it still crashes when using a multichannel interface.

This better/shouldn't just be a quick cash grab. Hopeful, but tying up my camel.

  • is the AB record/play button not something the devs (of certain apps) have to deliver?Hard to blame Steinberg here i guess.

  • Not sure who needs to get it done but the lack of record button does need work from whom ever it is works on these things.

  • I was hoping they would have sorted out the 'zoom' issues in Cubasis.
It's super annoying when zooming and the zoomed content goes in the 'wrong direction'.

And instead of FX-IAPs, a proper 'sampler' would have been way more welcome addition :)

...or an overhaul of the less than basic internal fx.

We are just a footstep away of the Auria pro update so i'm not sure if i'm gonna buy them now or not.

  • The second pack of FX looks like it could be interesting since it's a more unusual selection, but if the quality is the same as the existing built-in FX then I'll pass. Shame there's no video or samples anywhere.

    Here's a video: http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/mobile_apps/cubasis/in-app_purchase.html

And to answer my own question:from the video it doesn't look like the fx comes with presets (or more important:let you save own presets).Bummer.

  • There are audio samples showing and a quick video at the link from the top of this page but they do not look or sound like anything I would pay extra for especially given so many other choices ?

  • It looks like the Cubasis 2 rumor was only a rumor.

  • Inside the store you can listen to each effect individually also. Talk box is pretty sweet!

So many other choices? That's relative,i prefer native plugins anytime just because i can use them multiple times and EVERYTHING will be saved with a song without the fuss that comes along with IAA or AB.It's definitely a good thing to have basics covered from the host so i need to invite only the specialists...

  • Thanks for the video link.

  • Incest is relative but I still have no need(wink). At least in this case

  • if you say so...

  • Oh crabby ! I love you though.

    That's an unrequited love,sorry :p

  • Lol ,no kidding it has become quite obvious and humerous also. Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained!

  • Nominative determinism at work there perhaps...

  • Back to topic:impressions welcome from the early adopter.

Guess i'll buy them later. They are not that expensive and since Gadget is near unusable on Air 2 i'm thinking to use Cubasis more often again. And the FX are definitely a welcome addition!

  • To be fair I should give a shout out to the guys at Cubasis . Even though I have no need for them, others will find them handy and I really do use it as my go to DAW. I find the workflow familiar and very stable, so keep up the good work guys and I'll be looking forward to see what the IAP's may hold in the future.

  • @Tritonman - I have a bone to pick with your use of humerous ;-) - But seriously - the stereo width plugin may well be useful. I've tried to use Stereo Designer via IAA before - but it tends to dump out. Being able to apply a stereo width plugin directly to individual tracks from within Cubasis itself may prove very useful. Going to look at that one...

  • Agree on that @MusicInclusive. If you (or anyone) gets there paws on it could you please 'share with the group' what you think etc.

    6,99$ each pack.

First i was thinking"why did they not just release two multi FX units?" but it makes perfect sense to have a lot of small units.I can imagine they take almost"nothing"of CPU power,no cluttered interface and you can use quite a lot of them.Try that with any AB or IAA effect ;)
