I wonder if it was on purpose to prevent iFunbox from doing what iTunes is supposed to do. Although, there have been many problems caused by someone removing wrong files using iFunbox.

I'm on ios 8.3, air 2, been trying out a few more things, can handle loads more in ab without glitching or turning into an electronic goose, altho loading dfx into a monstrous synth and fx chain did cause a honk, restart. I too am getting an unresponsive sidebar in garageband, updated it, still the same, also afrolatin drum machine, alchemy, apollo remote recorder, apollo sound injector, isem, all had the same issue, didn't get passed the a's in my ab list, which is the current version.
Tried some iaa fx in audioshare, most worked fine, bitwiz wouldn't load even after starting it again and closing the app as instructed, sunvox, just had an error message and didn't open, galileo, like bitwiz wouldn't load even after going through the procedure and a reboot, main app also crashes on startup. Overall, feeling much more responsive, I'm starting to get full joy, I'm appreciating all the extra ponies under the hood.
Isem has a frozen Audiobus sidebar now, pretty sure it was fine pre ios 8.3
Btw,are there (free at best) working alternatives to iFunbox?
On the plus side I just tried my (quite intensive) looping set up in which a particular patch in turnado brought mini retina to its latent knees and I have to report...

I've had that same issue on & off with MTDaw - unable to hear any audio whilst recording, still running 8.2 atm. Was gutted as that was my go to dependable DAW, seeing how cubasis was for ever having a hard time whilst recording lengthy live takes on the ipad2. Now on iPad air2 they've switched places, with cubasis working consistently well & MTDaw having developed the 'silent monitoring' bug

Having read through folks comments on the 8.3 os, it seems like I might as well take the plunge...
Ifunbox app instal still works so I guess the wise thing to do is to save the IPAs and the shared folder somewhere safe. I don't trust the iCloud, or rather I don't think I understand it well enough to trust myself not to fuck-up.
To be honest I can live without the ifunbox if shit works properly.
I rely on iFunbox for, for example, adding waves to Z3TA+ - so that would be another downer for me if it didn't work.
The non-responsive Connection Panel bug is caused by apps using an older Audiobus SDK. Using a newer version (or updating to it) makes that bug go away. I recommend contacting the developer in question and asking them nicely to update to a newer version of the Audiobus SDK. I'm also sending a few mails about this.
Ifunbox not working is a massive blow.... Anyone know if it works on PC still? I'll try tomorrow at work ... Damn, I use that for everything.
i tried iBrowse now,which looks even better than ifunbox but no access to the apps file system as well (should have worked before).I guess it's just a matter of time until those people update their stuff for iOS 8.3....IF the access will be still possible of course
Has anyone tested if the new Lightning cable audio/midi connection apps work?
Lots of apps freezing in Audiobus, iSem iMS-20, Thesis, some FX from Amazing Noises like Reverb has no LFO workin, in or out of AB, just tested a few...
iSem works fine for me. No Connection Panel bug either. Please make sure to test it after rebooting your iPad and making sure there's not much going on at the same time, otherwise we're potentially mixing up actual bugs with just regular nastiness that happens after a fresh update with lots of apps active.
AudioMux & MidiMux work perfectly with my iPad Air 2 running iOS8.3.
Music IO also works.
Hmm, this thread mostly makes we want to make the 7->8 jump. No iFunbox though? That's a tough one.
Loss of the funbox is a heartbreaker. Hopefully they will update etc. If not, a definite vacuum.....
Interesting. So Apple did not totally kill all non-conventional use cases for direct data access through the cable. I'm sceptic about iFunbox though. The 8.3 beta has been available for some time. If they haven't come up with an update yet to fix it chances are that there's no easy way to get back the functionality.
Someone at IOS musician FB page said it does still work on Windows.
Wonder if they even know. Couple of people sent messages on twitter and facebook. No news yet.

Of course, I forgot of that use. I don't but can imagine what a pain it is not being able to do it. If not ifunbox update I hope there will be other software to do it. Failing that just find someone with a Windows machine. You won't upload zeta waveforms every day I presume.
This may not be a iFunbox issue. Tried it with no success. Went to iTunes and most File Sharing data not available. Is this just me?
It's common for iF.B. to stop working when a new iOS version comes out. A new iF.B. version will be out soon to right the universe again.

Are you guys on iCloud or iCloud Drive?
DiskAid isn't working either...I would think it's almost certainly the case for all these apps, some access they'll need to upgrade with 8.3. I-funbox are usually pretty quick with updates so lets hope they'll release an update soon.
